Hi Puffins...and welcome aboard!
I'm a 100% VG user too, due to numerous IBS and stomach issues that PG causes me. Some sellers cut their all- VG juices with alcohol, which thins the juice and gives a little throat hit, since VG is so smooth when vaped. As for me, I like mine THICK and use a three hole cartomizer in a tank. Works great for me! As for items with 510 connections, you'll find that more devices etc. are compatable with 510 than any other, IMO. Gives you plenty of upgrading options, should you decide to do so in the future...

i'm a 100% VG user also. i have found the vg is a little tough on cartos. which give me best taste, but i blow alot of cartos.
i have tried vivi novas, and they do ok, loose flavor quick.
as of right now, i'm using kanger protanks.
they are a bottom coil, and have a cool vape.
they're easy to use and fill. they do have 510 threads, but you can use an adapter.
they have a pyrex tank if you use harsh juice, it won't crack.
i used to add 2 drops of distilled water per tank to thin it a little, but have stopped doing that.
just constantly clean everything, especially before first use.
at least take a look at them.

That kanger tank looks promising. I kinda feel like the punched carto method seems like more room for error on my part so if I can find a solution that doesn't use them that would be best.
