One of my two batteries doesn't operate nearly as long as the other. When it runs out of power and I plug it into the wall charger, the charging light does not go red, it goes sort of half green and half red.

I charged it for 10 hours on the first charge. This happened on the second and third charges now. It was great after the first charge, lasted all day. The second charge was only good for about 2 hours. I am charging it for the third time now. So, it seemed fine on the initial charge and first time use. When I screwed it into the charger the second time, I got this half green half red light. Now, I see the same thing on the third charge. Half green half red.

The other battery seems fine. Solid red (with some sort of flash that goes off regularly) when charging, green when charged.

Do I have a defective battery? Should I try the USB charger instead? Since one batt is fine, I figure the charger is too. I got this kit a week ago. Any ideas/ suggestions?

Yep... if the battery is very discharged, the USB light will be red and pulse bright blue/white regularly as it charges, and the red slowly becomes more and more bright blue. When it's solid blue, it's done.

I also agree with Keyzy and checking if the center post isn't making a strong connection.

I know from cell phones and other rechargable lithium battery based devices that they can develop a sort of memory. If you recharge them before they are fully discharged, the power cycle for operation goes way down in terms of operating time. This one seems to be acting like that. It won't operate with a cart, but it isn't fully discharged either. Having said that, I never tried to recharge this one while it was still holding a charge.

Even with the USB charger, it was mostly blue as soon as I plugged it in. Pretty much like the wall charger being mostly green with some red. The wall charger never flashed with this battery, but the USB charger has a very faint pulsing. The wall charger never pulsed.

I already tried to lift the post as soon as I saw the wall indicator start off the charge cycle mostly green/part red. That didn't help. It is solid blue with no pulsing now. I'll let it charge on the USB for a couple more hours, and see how long it will work. On my last cycle, it barely made over 90 minutes with light vaping, and that was just after taking it off the wall charger which was solid green.

I hope it's fine, but I have my doubts. Thanks for the suggestions. When I take it off the charger I'll post how it goes.

I'm afraid it's a bad batt. I left it on the USB charger for another 2 hours after it indicated it had a full charge. I took about 5 vapes ay half hour intervals and at 2 hours it was blinking. It worked fine but crapped out way before it should have. I put it back on the wall charger and same thing, a red light for maybe a second, then a mostly green/ partially red light.

I've cleaned the contacts, raised the post all to no avail. I've seen bad lithiums act like this before. Bummer, I guess it time for a ticket.
