Xtar (Previously Sony) VTC 4's

i just got 2 of the xtars in one for me and one for a friend, they are holding up well with no heat on a .18 build the are significantly longer than vtc5s though had to adjust the top on the mod for the added length. all the xtra rewrapping makes them feel beefy too. LOL

Yeah, did you get the button tops? I got the button tops specifically for my 4Nine. They are pretty much the perfect size.

no, i got the flattops, but they are longer than my vtc5s i havent measured but could be between 1/16 to an 1/8 of an inch

any idea why the xtars are taller than the original vtc4

Not only are they xtar wrapped, they use a different positive connector.

inswva, thanks man i figured it had something to do with the positive connector if anything looks like an improvement. i just ordered 4 of the xtars from rtd with a xtar vp1 charger.
