Hey guys,
Well, on Sunday we went on our weekly trip to get analogs (I just can't get my wife to take the leap to the VK. At least it was only one carton instead of 2!!). My wife was a little under the weather, so she stayed home and my 3 year old son and I went to get smokes for her and to the playground for a while. He got his usual (M&M's), and I opted for a candy bar, but when I asked him what we should get Mama, he said, and I quote:
"Since Mama still smokes real cigarettes, she don't get any candy."
Intrigued by his line of reasoning (and after a stifled chuckle), I asked him "What about Daddy? Do I get any candy?"
Again quoting:
"You smoke those fake cigarettes, so you can get some!" No chuckling this time; It was full blown laughter!
Of course, when I got the VK, and he wanted to know what the boxes, batteries, cartomizers, chargers, etc., etc. were, I explained (as best as I could to a 3 year old) what everything was, what it was for, and to NEVER, EVER touch any of it.
Now this was a couple of weeks ago, but I can't for the life of me recall using the words "fake cigarette". Isn't it interesting how kids put these things together?!
Anyway, I thought maybe everyone could use an extra smile this evening. I say "extra" because we're all Smilin already! Thanks Vapor4Life for a week-and-a-half analog free and counting!!!!
