Hi everyone. New to the forum and been lurking ECF for the last three weeks since quitting. I've learned a lot from folks on this site and decided it was time to say thank all of you experienced vapers that have shared your knowledge. I will post more later but am still trying to find my way around too... Btw, does anyone know how I can add an avatar? I'm sure there are instructions somewhere...

Congratulations Mr. Cloud! That three week mark is a big one. You are over the worst of it now.

At this point it's important not to get overconfident. Don't entertain any ideas of trying "just one" cigarette out of curiosity or if you find yourself in a stressful situation. Don't even think about bumming a single puff from someone.

Most of the physical withdrawal symptoms from all of those other drugs in tobacco besides nicotine are now past. Keeping your head straight and staying focused on never smoking again is now the challenge. Enjoy the new benefits. You and your clothes no longer stink of cigarette smoke, your sense of taste will begin to improve soon and so will your respiratory system.

You are off to a great start now.

Thanks again everyone for all of the congrats everyone!

You are absolutely right yzer, I think I'm past the tough part and definitely feeling better every day. Within a week my chronic cough was gone and breathing is becoming easier. Heard some say that the pg might have an effect on that but like to think not putting tar and a bunch of other crud into the lungs also has helped.

After smoking for thirty-five years, I know it has taken it's toll and wish I could take those years back smoke free but glad I finally found a way to stop.

Holy cow... I was off one week! Can't believe it has officially been four weeks... Was trying to figure out how to add the days and hours banner at the bottom of my page when it dawned on me.

If anyone knows how, could you please share or direct me to a link that explains this? It is an awesome reminder of the accomplishment and I know many use it here.

Thanks again and congrats to all of you for being able to quit smoking!

Thanks again
