Well, back in mid-March I got my wife a Reo Grand and myself a PureSmoker Legacy. I came here for advice on the reo and yall were a great help. She loves her dang Reo. She thinks she is soooooooo cool, prancing around in our local vape shop, blowing huge vapor clouds, while people ask her countless questions about that cool, cute little boxy mod that they have never seen before. Seeing this, I’m thinking to myself, whoa, wait, I’m the one “totally into” vaping, ask me the questions, she just vapes! Everywhere we go she is completely stealing the show with her fancy pantsy reo grand, which is totally not cool. :p

So, just like yall said, I got jealous in a pretty short time. But after spending a bunch on my Legacy (with a kick) at the same time as I bought her grand, I had to stick with what I had settled on for at least a little while. A month and a half later, I’m sick of it! I’ve had a lot of trouble with the legacy consistently firing because of the kick not grounding very well. As a result, this thing has been constant fidgeting, cleaning and noalox treatments. It's a really nice mechanical mod, but it does not play nice with the kick.

So that got old really quick and……….fast forward to yesterday. I pushed the button on Rob's website and ordered myself a reo grande, black wrinkle with an orange door. Tracking says ill have it tomorrow! I also got a Reomizer 2 since I have been rebuilding my vivi novas with micro coils and cotton with great success.

I'm going to put the kick in the grand and ground it with a wire to the spring. My PureSmoker Legacy will go back to a plain 18650 mech mod for some low ohm vaping. The reo will be my all day, every day vape. I’m super excited and hope to steal a at least fraction of lime light back from my highfallutin, reo toting, wife! LOL :p

I just wanted to say, yep, yall were right, and I'm happy about it.

Ya...us vaping wives tend to steal our hubbies thunder. So glad she liked it though...because we can also be awfully finicky when it comes to vaping gear.

welcome back, bigbass.....we've been waiting for you. We ALL knew it was just a matter of time. You've made a good decision....and I'm sure tomorrow can't come fast enough. Actually, you have very good timing because the RM2 hasn't been out very long, and you waited long enough to get in on that. You're going to love both your new Grand and your new atty. Can't wait to hear all about them soon.....

Meanwhile, some of us Reonauts are having a little get-together at Lake Murray near Ardmore this weekend......how about load up the wife and her Reo and take a little road trip? We'd love to meet you.... Here's the thread about it: http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...onal-meet-okies-texans-crazy-mountaineer.html Just hop in the car and show up on Saturday. Would be fun, you'll have to admit.

You'll love it Brent!!

it won't be long before you'll want a back-up. My newbie advice for everyone who asks me about my gear is that eventually you'll end up with a REO.

Eventually you'll end up with multiple REOs is probably a more accurate statement - unless your one of those 1 percenters who just don't get it. (I think they just like tube shape stuff in their hands and in their mouth).

That sounds like a lot of fun but unfortunatly we already had to cancel our bass fishing torunament this weekend because the wife has to work. I know yall will still have a lot of fun without us!

I am hoping that this will be my last mod, but yall were right the first time so it wouldn't suprise me if we ended up a multi REO household when its all said and done.

When I get my coil built and everyhting buttoned up ill post some pics!

Thanks yall. I am so pleased with my REO! Best investment ever. I hate to admit it, but the first day I had it I dropped it from about 4 feet on to the concrete. Had it sitting in my lap and got out of the chair and gravity did its thing. I blame the margaritas. Anyway, it only got a couple minor scratches on the bottom and knocked the atomizer a little crooked. I pushed the atomizer back into place and now its like it never happened. Any other mod would have met its demise that day. Happy Happy Happy!
