So I got the starter kit and it came with one bottle of juice ( I will be ordering more this week) I also got a smokingeverywhere gold (ordered that first before I saw the ego - I will use it in public and as a back up for now :) ). The Joye came with a bottle of Winston 24mg/5ml. Eh - doesn't taste bad just not great. I choked on my first draw LOL - but the next ones were great! I have about 5 more analogs left in my pack - I am going to keep them as back up - but I gotta tell ya - I love my Ego and I'm not sure I'll be needing them! hahaha It looks like a pen but I got used to that right away. Is there a store in Philadelphia that one can go to to get juice or is it strictly bought online? It's my first day - first ever PV and I am really excited. I have wanted to quit for some time now but just could not find the motivation - well I found it!! Thanks to this board and all the reading I did!

Welcome and grats. I too have egos and I love them. there are not many places except online to buy juice. Don't know about your area. You can check around the forum, some areas have vapemeets. I gave up analogs in Aug and have not looked back. Loving every minute of it. Truly a life saver.

Welcome to ECF. And congratulations on quitting neighbor.

I haven't been vaping for a very long but it didn't take very long for me to not think about having to go outside and smoke a cigarette. I really haven't had one in about five days, I occasionally went out to smoke but it started to become less satisfying especially in in those extremely cold nights here in the Philly area.

As to your question about finding anyone local to buy juices from sadly there are none. I would highly recommend you stick with the suppliers that you find here within the forum. It's taken me quite a bit of time to find something that I like other than menthol. And I'm still looking.

Your choice to buy an eGo was a very good one.

The eGo is awesome, you will love it. If you can part with your analogs do so, that way there isn't any temptation to finish off the ones you have. Not sure about the PA stores but look for social groups in the forum that pertain to your area, its a great way to try and meet fellow vapers. Might also want to think about going to vapefest since its going to be in your neck of the woods this year. It would be a great way to meet some of the vendors, get information, and try new juices/products.
Do yourself a favor and check it out. Philly Vapefest 2011!

You made a wonderful choice for your first PV!!!! Many people before you have wasted ALOT of money taking a road that leads to the ego/Riva-510/other clones of the Joye Ego.
It only cost me ~$250 to finally buy a T-Rex kit (ego clone) for $30. At first I was bummed out that it cost me so much to get there, but I now know that it was successful, I never smoked another cigarette again after I first started using my PV, that at any cost is worth it.
Congratulations on starting your journey! It truly is wonderful not to have to smoke! I started out vaping at 16MG, found out that I still wanted to smoke, so I went up to 24, and that works 90% of the time (I was a 3-5 PAD smoker) my wife smoked a half to one and a half a day, and it took 36MG for her to quit. I'm glad to have the 36 in the house, sometimes when I really want a smoke, I VAPE one tank full of that, and the feeling is gone. Good luck again! And welcome to the forum.

Ego is great!! As for juice vendors, I don't know of any in that area but at least around here the few places to buy juice it is crazy overpriced and not up to par. There are a lot of great online vendors with great prices to choose from. I just keep stocked up so I don't run out. It's a great idea to try a variety of different juices from different vendors anyway IMHO. I ordered from a local vendor I won't name for a while and didn't think it was great but didn't know better. It wasn't until i tried others that I realized how much better it could be :)

I wish there was a vaporfest around here!!!

I too went with the eGo after making a typical noob error that shall remain nameless. When I first received it I could not believe what a great experience it was and have been a happy vaper ever since.

I have been experimenting with juices and all I can say is keep an open mind. As a nearly two pack a day menthol smoker I am amazed that I am really enjoying things like blueberry cheesecake and French vanilla. In one respect it's not surprising in that they are flavors I like in food, I just figured I would only want to vape menthol since that's all I smoked. So try some things and go for sample packs where available to try a wide variety until you figure out what works for you.

Now back to happily vaping in my non-smoking hotel room when it's 20 degrees outside!

LOL my GF "had to have menthol only!!!!" then I got her onto some choc mint, now she tries everything I mix up heh. She thinks my chocolate strawberry is "Ice Cream flavored" also oddly when I first started (I was non menthol smoker) I thought I didn't really want to try any other flavor except something that tasted like my Marlboro's.... Now the closest thing I can vape to a normal cig is probably RY4. Which probably isnt. I think half the fun of me Vaping now is comming up with different flavors and mixes. It doesnt help though being a somewhat new to not smoking analogs my taste buds change a lot. What I don't like this week I may like the next and Visa Versa.
PS. this week I loveeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee Butterscotch!! oh and Bannana!
