Just registered and wanted to say helo and thanks for providing the wealth of knowledge on this forum.

I started vaping after several of my coworkers talked me into trying it 3 weeks ago. I was a little over a pack a day Camel smoker.... and I loved it. Smoking made me happy and I never had any intention of quitting. I only picked up vaping to cut back a little to try to reduce my lingering cough after a cold. Needless to say, I was amazed when one day I decided to start off vaping and see how long it to before I needed a cigarette, only to find I didn't smoke at all that day. Holy crap! Vaping can really replace smoking for me and I don't feel like I'm missing out on anything. I would have never believed it if someone tried to convince me of that before I started.

I have been completely cigarette free since July 20th and I am feeling much better. My senses of smell and taste are starting to come back and I love the taste of (most of) the juices I've tried.

For anyone interested, my setup is currently as follows:

- Joye Ego-T 900mah with type A LR attys
- 70/30 PG/VG 18mg juice
- favorite flavors so far are RY4, Acai Berry and Orange Dream from BombayVaping (with triple flavor option)

I look forward to hanging out here and contributing where I can.

Matt

It is just as addicting! Tastes and smells so much better! Congrats! I never thought I would give them up, and I just passed the 6 month mark! A co-worker talked me into trying it also, I have have converted 4 others. ECF is a wealth of information!

Congrats on SIX months! Wow :) And helping 4 others change their lives. That's gotta feel good.

Congratulations on your quit! Great set up you have too! :) So what's your next toy going to be? ;)

LOL, yeah I'm a techie gadget guy so I think of the hardware as toys too :) I've gone through both"types" of the Ego-T attys in both low and standard resistance. I've also tried some CE2s, but was impressed with them. My main issues there were the needle filling, not being able to see the juice leve land the heat of the vapor. I have some standard 510 attys with a drip tip coming in the mail now. That'll be mostly for sampling though. I like not having to refill very often.

I'd like to try some higher voltage boxes too, but it'll take some getting used to size-wise. Eventually I'd like to work my way up to the Darwin, but I figure I need to try a few more Hondas before I settle on the Cadillac.

Welcome and congratulations!

I'm a n00b too - got about six days on you. I went from an M402 (bad idea) to a 510XL (better idea) to a 900mAh eGO (great idea) in less than two weeks.

I currently use 2.5 ohm Smoktech mega cartos and like them pretty well but have some eGO dual coil mega cartos due in today and will see if I like them any better - from what I read they're the bee's knees :D

Also, I have an eGO-T kit coming in on a slow boat from China that I don't expect to see for another week at least - I ended up with two eGO kits when the spousal unit decided she liked my 510 kit better than her shiny new eGO.

I've been sickarette-free for three weeks yesterday and a month seems doable. I've only quit for a month once before in 38 years of smoking analogs - life is good.

Again, welcome - and congratulations!
