 First, Rob you have FAR exceeded my expectations with your design. Furthermore, the absolute exquisite craftsmanship you put into this mod is beyond my wildest dreams. I'm very glad I picked this particular one out of the mods you made from the chunks of exotic woods I sent to you. The pictures you posted (while these were being built) don't even come close to what they look like in person. Simply amazing buddy!!! Now, on to some pictures. Keep in mind that the Curly Fiddleback Hawaiian KOA wood has an iridescence that is next to impossible to capture without a very high dollar camera. I tried my best to catch some of it...

Oh, and here are the custom made spacers I linked to you guys a few times that are made for the PILA users that want something that was made specifically for the battery and charger combo...

I will add a review after a day or two with this sweet little chunk of wood. (I believe I have found the highly sought after...PERFECT vape!!!) :2cool:

That is a beauty mv. do you wear white gloves when you use it? :)

Believe me, the thought has crossed my mind! It will NOT leave the carpeted area of the inside of my house for ANY reason...
(That is why I MUST have a couple of VV Grands!)

BTW, first impressions are this thing kicks serious AZZZZz! I haven't had a nicotine buzz in ~1year. I may have to put this sucker down for a while. I have already vaped up ~4-5ml's of juice in about 3 hours.

Alright, after trying a 3.5Ω at 5.6v's (8.96watts), a 2.5Ω at 5v's (10watts), and a 1.8Ω at 4.2-.25v's (10watts)
(all were IKV io6's) I can safely say that the 1.8Ω vape at ~4.2-4.25v's is my favorite. Some folks will say that it pointless to use a VV mod for a "lr" atty at a low voltage...BUT my reasoning is this.... These mods will hold the voltage that they are set at til the batt's reach "cut-off" voltages. So, this means I can keep that feeling of a fresh 3.7v battery (4.2ish volts) that is where I have always liked to vape. The 4.2v's-4.25v's with the io6 1.8Ω is my "happy spot". Being able to vape at that set voltage instead of having to swap out a aw imr 18650 every couple of hours to maintain that 4.2v "feeling and flavor" is worth the price of admission any day of the week imho.

That's a beautiful mod. :thumb:

By the way, Rob... That money you paid the USPS for priority shipping to get my mod to me? They totally ripped you off.

*SIGH* :(
I thought you would get the mod today my friend if they only new how aggravating can be to no your mods coming and then have it not show for days. Go toss yourself in the dirt buddy
