Let me preface this post by saying that I am no means an experienced vaper but I have tried most of the "basic" set ups currently out right now (excluding Mechs, RBAs,RDAs, etc...)

I picked up an Aspire Nautilus and slapped it on top of my Provari 2.5 a few weeks ago. I was quite pleased with the tank overall and had no complaints about the functionality or the flavor it provided.
I started seeing some video reviews of the new mini, more specifically the new BVC coils that came with the mini. I decided I might as well order the Mini tank along with some BVC coil replacements to try out.

I can now say with out a doubt that I will never use a BDC coil again. The difference while not mind blowing is quite drastic. Much more consistent flavor with every liquid that I have tried so far. I loaded my BDC equipped Nautilus with some 100VG liquid and then put the same liquid in my mini/BVC. I vaped them back to back multiple times. More than noticeable difference. I then had my sister in law try them back to back without telling her that anything about the setup and she chose the mini/BVC with out hesitating. I repeated this with my wife and she also agreed.

On a side note, I normally vaped my BDC coils in the 3.4-3.8 volt range but with the BVC I have gone as high as 4.9 volts with zero burnt taste.

TLDR; BVC is way better than the BDCs and everyone who owns a Nautilus should at the very least try a BVC.

Great to hear you like them!

I do my own builds - Kayfuns - and love the results. But, for a convenient Clearomizer that actually Does the job of a Good Carto Tank or avvg. RBT, the Nautilus/mini with the BVC is clearly out front.
Now if they will just start lowering the coil prices so people can stock up.(They are about 2x higher<retail> than need be.)

Kanger also has some really decent Tanks. Now they need to step up with decent coils to match. BVC is the correct way to go in Clearomizers.

I totally agree.

Now, what to do with the BDCs I had just previously stocked up on? :glare:

Good question! I only have 1 pack of BDCs so I'm not out that much money luckily. I will be stocking up on BVCs though for sure.

Where is the best place to buy them? I purchased my BVCs from Aspire directly but it took a while to ship, understandably though seeing as it came from china.

I am way curious about these new BVC's but aren't they like cartomizers? If they are that'd be cool. Since I'm already invested pretty heavily into cartomizers with tanks I can't see buying the Aspire Nautilus just to try these out. I dunno though I can change my mind pretty easily, LoL

I would say they are modified carts, not near a large for sure. They can only be used on the Nautilus tanks so they will not work on a carto tank. They can take quite a bit more power than the normal cart also, although I am sure some can take the power.

Has anyone experienced intermittent air coming through as if the coil stopped firing. Using the mini with a Provari 2.5. 4.6 volts 50/ 50 blend.I don't think it can be the Provari.

Nope....Since it has a spring loaded connection and the coil sits atop the spring I would say maybe the connection is not that good. Double check the coil is secure, it can come loose during assembly and/or dis-assembly. I say this due to the nature of the design, if you only un tighten the base to remove the coil sometimes the coil is in tight and only the base comes off leaving the coil in the stem of the upper portion.

If the coil is loose it will not sit deep enough to touch the spring is my point.:D

Yes, the Nautilus and BVC coils are simply amazing! I was at my local Vape Store this weekend as they just got some coils and even though I already had three boxes, I wanted to get some more so I can't run out anytime in the near (hopefully, distant) future. They keep selling out of the Mini so one sales guy I usually buy from hadn't yet tried the BVC. He's a mechanical mod-dripper kind of guy and I let him try my Provari and Nautilus system and he was blown away.

101vape.com has them for 12.99 for a 5 pack.

I am really impressed with these coils. I've been vaping the same coil for 5 days now in my Nautilus, vaping at 15watts, and it hasn't dropped off at all on vapor, or flavor. That's like a new world record or something. Can't say enough good things about this BVC head. This is like a carto reimagined with great flavor and vapor production. I've been twisting my own coils for both the Nautilus and Aerotank for months now and can say I'm done with that. Being able to buy inexpensive coils that last a long time and give great performance means no more hand twisted coils (except for a few RDAs). This is a big step forward in quality and easy vaping. Well done Eigate.
