I have had a similar experience to most people on this forum and I know that this type of post has been repeated many times over, but it was all of the rave reviews that convinced me to buy my Vapor King. I had heard of the e-cigarettes and have been curious about them. I started looking at "The Smoke Assassin" because I heard their radio commercial and when I searched the web, I came up with all sorts of fraud and rip-off reports. I came across this forum, and as a result was sold on the Vapor King.

It arrived 2 days after having placed my order and I couldn't be happier. My first impression was that I couldn't believe the quality of the "throat hit". I was unsure about the taste at first (I started with Mboro, Coffee and Cappucino). Today was my first full day with it and I am hooked. I smoked a few traditional cigarettes and found myself wanting to put them down and have some "vapes"....the smoke seemed a little heavy and almost too much. I am thinking that after years of trying to quit smoking, this may be the thing that helps it to happen. I am curious as to how long the battery will last and am considering buying a backup in case it dies. Does anyone have any information about how long these things last?

I couldn't be happier with my Vapor King and with vapor4life.com!

It has been a miracle for me...smoked for 40 years 1.5 packs per day and have not touched an analog since I took my first vape.

The battery time will depend on how much you vape. Generally its anywhere between 4 to 8 hours. It would be good to have 2. The battery will last longer if you don't let it completely discharge before you recharge it. Also did you get the passthrough? It is a must have IMO...I like both the auto and manual passthroughs.

You should ALWAYS have at least one, preferably two, backup batteries. As great as the V4L product is, things can and do go wrong. I had a battery crap out on me last week (replaced with my next order no questions asked). Luckily I had 2 other batteries. I just got an extra long manual and it was still going strong after 5 hours of being out the other night, barely putting it down to rest.
A pass through is a must have to save battery life IMO. Use it at home or work and let your batteries rest :p
You'll be a 100% non-smoker in no time :D Congratz on finding one of the best products and Steve will keep ya Smilin :D

Congratulations, Gran. You are doing so great!

And as an aside, does anyone know approximately how many times we can recharge a battery before it is a goner? I know there's no set number, but a ballpark would be great to know.

With heavy use 200 to 300 times. If you go easy on them and don't completely discharge them before you recharge them, could be at least double that figure.
