Ahoy-hoy

I know, there are countless threads on this topic, and I've been through quite a few of them, but I'm a little confused. Here's why:

Since about one week into my vaping journey (Nov. 13, 2012), I've been vaping nothing but Liqua 18mg e-liquid, Vanilla and Coffee.
I believe they're 70PG/30VG?
vaping it in Vivi Novas (regular and Mini) clearomizers, first on a normal eGo battery, then on eVic and Spinner (variable volt/watt).
Had pretty much zero issues for all that time, between then and now.
I drink about 3-4 litres of water every day.
But recently, I started having a bit of a sore throat. Nothing too bad, but just a bit of irritation while swallowing/drinking. It's worst in the morning.
Now, this is where I get a bit confused.
If I have no other signs of an allergic reaction (acne/red gums/all those things), just the slightly sore throat, is it an allergic reaction?
Or is it just time to vape a bit less, and maybe consider cutting down on the nicotine?
I know, it could also just be a cold, but I don't think I have any other signs of a cold showing, although it's winter time here...

Here's to hoping you can shed some light on this for me, before I order both lower nicotine e-liquid and/or 100VG e-liquid :D

What flavors are you vaping? I know when I was vaping flavors with menthol I got kind of a soar throat. I switched to strictly fruity flavors and the soreness left. Also, I kinda lose track of how much I puff. I mean ecigs are better than what we used to do, but its still a foreign substance, maybe try to take it easier on the amount your puffing... its worked for me. Also, I have found that juice with a higher PG ratio hits the throat a little harder, maybe a juice with a higher VG base will help.
