Greetings. I have been aware of e-cigs for a few years now, but as I quit smoking quite a while back, never really wanted to get one. LOL, the "coolness" factor wasn't there for me, but I totally have respected what they were, and where the health benefits really lie. So now, I am looking for an e-pipe, but one that I can run without nicotine. Is there a thread or anything out there that lists the anatomy of an e-cig and/of e-pipe? And I am guessing that when I read some of the threads, and they talk about the flavors, these are ones that you can buy or even make yourself? LOL, like I said, another {NEW GUY}.

do a forum search for pipe...they are definitely out there. I am pretty sure there are photos in the 1500 page "pictures of your setup" thread so i am betting a search would be better LOL
you can purchase 0mg nicotine premade eliquid from vendors or you can DIY
there is also the DIY sub-forum. DIY E-Liquid

welcome and get to reading you {NEW GUY}! :D
(always been a term of endearment in my world)

I really didn't think that I was asking for that much. I have figured out that you have the bowl, which holds the battery. The stem that you draw your breath, and the vapor, through. But I have seen the cartridges, and then there is the glass deal that I often see between the bowl and the stem, and I wonder about that. Often, it has liquid. So just kind of curious about that stuff.

As to lingo, I am picking up a bit here, and a bit there.

Yes, and page # 514 of the a 519 page thread, does not give me the anatomy. And that is the second thread. Do I honestly have to read all 393 pages of the first thread, as well as all 519 pages of the second thread, just to get the anatomy? I will if I have to, but that seems rather excessive just to know what every part of an e-pipe is.

same anatomy as an ecig...power source, "firing pin", atomizer, mouthpiece?

(i say firing pin because i can't think of the word for what makes it GO LOL)

Anatomy of an epipe:

mouthpiece
cartomiser/atomizer/juice tank
body or bowl
battery
lighted plastic ashes (typical,not mandatory)

Anatomy of an ecig

driptip (optional)
cartomizer/atomizer/juice tank
battery

How the battery gets activated is different on each type of pipe/ecig. You can easily do the research here as to all the different types. Automatic, button, mechanical. Then you have the variable wattage and variable voltage aspect as well. Now that you have the post count you need to venture out to other parts of the forum do some searches and join in the conversations.
