You actually get a throat hit from the RN4081 (Smoking Everywhere Gold)

After some discussion and some products ordered, it has been determined that the Smoking Everywhere Gold e-cig that I have is an RN4081. While I don't get that much vapor and I have to draw hard, I do get a nice strong throat hit with the 555 tobacco flavor that came with it. I was surprised at this. I just tried my first 555 cart today and notice it. I had been smoking the Strawberry carts, and they don't really give a throat hit, but the tobacco flavor does - to the point where it makes me cough every few times. The more I read and learn the more I realize that the throat hit is more dependent on the e-liquid then the actual e-cig.

DC: Are you sure that is a RN4081 style vaporizer? Unless Smoking Everywhere has changed their models, it is the KR808a manufactured by Schenzhen Kanger Tech. RN series is First Union made.

HK: Check out PureSmoker.com - Your #1 Source For ECigs, Parts, & Accessories! . Steve should have the atomizers you need, at a fraction of what Njoy charges, if you're lucky enough to even buy a replacement Njoy branded atomizer. He now carries passthroughs for the RN4081 as well. Enjoy.

Hi,

I have a Pee Wee (which is also a RB4081). I went to the site you mentioned because I can't seem to find atomizers for it and was wondering if you might know where to get them because SmokingEverywhere didn't have any listed among their products?
Any info would be greatly appreciated!!!!!:)
I didn't mention any site, what are you talking about? You can get the atomizers here at Totally Wicked USA though, on this site the RN4081 is the White Super 10cm: Electronic Cigarette Atomizer (Atomiser)
Or as cekte said you can get them at puresmoker for two dollars less, but they are out of stock there right now.

Yes I am sure. And yes they have changed their models. The Smoking Everywhere 2.0 is a KR808a, but the Smoking Everywhere Gold (sometimes referred to as the 3.0) is a RN4081. Because RN4081 atomizers fit the Smoking Everywhere Gold, and the SE Gold looks exactly like a RN4081 and is exactly the same size, and uses the exact same cartridges, so yeah, I'm pretty sure :)

Interesting. My apologies. I was unaware of such a change in model and manufacturer. It seems as if even they have realized how horrible their Kanger series units are/were. Although doubtful...

You are right, Liquid definitely is a factor. Although throat hit depends on many variables in my experience. Liquid ingredients, Nicotine dosage within the ingredients, Vaporizer model, draw/hit technique, are just a few of the more common I find to all be elements of a throat hit. Atomizer variance, battery life, may also play a part to some extent. Personally, I find drastic differences between say a penstyle's hit, versus a m4 series throat hit using the same liquid and draw. Only in direct inhaling does this seem to null the unit as a factor. Again this may not apply to all.. :)

After I talked to someone who also had an SE Gold, he told me that it was an RN4081, so I ordered some RN4081 parts and since they fit and looked identicle it was obvious the the SE Gold was an RN4081. Sorry if that was a bit confusing. Why did you put "Smoking Everywhere" in bold text though?

The Liberation Jr. is also among the 4081 group. I <3 mine, and use it as my daily vaper.

P.S. I also carry replacement parts (atomizers & batteries) if anyone was searching..

Yeah, it really isn't as bad as everyone says. My only complaint is how often you have to refill the carts, but it produces a nice amount of vapor, a nice throat hit, and if you drip it produces more vapor then a cigarette does smoke.

What's great about mine, is that the guy I bought it from will replace the atomizers and batteries for a whole year. Although I think Smoking Everywhere has a 1 year warranty too, but I've heard that it takes forever for them to replace your parts.

But I wouldn't trust SE with anything - they told me that their RN4081 is made in the US in Miami, lol. Yeah right.

Hey Dcrist / Hipie..

I also have a SE Gold (A PeeWee on the way) and am also from Long Island!!

Bay Shore

Enjoy it. It produces some impressive vapor and kick for it's size (especially with Cash e-liquid), the only drawbacks are that is has a shorter battery life and that you have to refill your carts often. I'm glad you didn't get ripped off for your like I did, haha.

Oh they got me alright. Not at the roosevelt field mall but at the sunrise mall. Paid double the price of a PeeWee,

But I did not know then what I know now.

Max

Oh, I thought you were just saying that your PeeWee was the same thing as my SE Gold, which it is. But why would you buy a PeeWee when you already have the same model? At least you and I only got taken for $100, most people are buying these at $150.

Sunrise Mall seems like it would be a long drive for you, (not to mention that it's not the best mall anyway) you don't have any Malls that are any closer to you?

Once you start using other brands of liquid this thing is nice though. I don't know why but the liquid they use doesn't produce nearly as much vapor as say Cash liquid for example. I just realized that in the first post I said vapor production sucked, but in subsequent posts I said that vapor production was great, but I never provided an explanation for the change. It also seems like that atomizer improved in performance after the first few days.

At first I was a little disappointed in performance, but once I actually learned the proper way to smoke the thing, it chugs away just fine. Not to mention surprises the hell out of curious on-lookers who assume it's "just some fancy toy". The vapor is dense enough to actually blow rings with it. I do agree with y'all that it works much better on "after market" juice. I actually sat down and did a puff count the other day and got 35 puffs of good to average quality on a "factory" cart before it wisp'd out. By topping off a cart with some Camel Extra from e-smokeytreats, I managed to coax out about the same puff count but the quality of the vapor and throat hit was significantly better for each puff. And no doubt about it, performance is better with a freshly charged battery.
Longevity depends on how often I use it, but I now carry 3 batteries with me just in case my work day goes into overtime. I tend to hit it less when I'm using stronger juice so I can go nearly 8 hours on one battery, but typically its more like 4 or 5. I've also started packing 2 fully assembled units, one on a regular cart (for habit) and the other using the high test (for cravings.) By switching off between them I'm hoping to reduce the overall burden placed on a single atomizer, and thereby extend its life. I suspect that puffing the carts completely dry before changing them out is what causes the atomizers to burn out faster, because they may need the liquid to keep from overheating. So far, after nearly 2 months I haven't had any atomizer problems.
It's an old saying in the trades, "If you take care of your tools, your tools will take care of you."

Right on. I love my NPRO. Everyone bashes on them pretty bad, but I like it as much as my 901. Doesn't last as long, but I don't mind. Vapor production is good with a decent throat hit. Love the Silent Bob avatar by the way.

On my SE Gold, I normally carry 2 units. When the battery gives out on one, I go to the second. I don't use the same atomiizer. So for each battery I have a different atomizer.

I just recently got a PeeWee starter kit from Pure Smoker. Now I have 4 units (RN4081). got a small plastic marker case and carry them all in there. Same principle, 1 atomizer for each battery so I'm constanly rotating as well.

What I also do is when I'm done vaping, I remove the cart, pop the little stopper on and store it in a zip lock bag and place the atomizer cover on. This is so that while I'm not vaping, no e-juice is dripping on the atomizer when not in use. This (imo) will keep it from clogging before it's time and not have to worry about how I carry the e-cigs in my pocket or bag.

Funny, but when I first got the PeeWee kit, I noticed that my Smoking Everywhere batteries lasted longer than my PeeWee batteries. I also noticed that the PeeWee batteries have a shorter cut off time than the SE batteries, but yet, they are the same. This is weird. I'm going to pay closer attention to them to do a proper comparison. Now, the PeeWee batteries after 2 days of use, it seems as if the cut off times are now comparible with SE's but the SE's still last longer. Hmmmm

I'm going to have to keep an eye on this one. I think these batteries need a break in/charging period.

Absolutly yes, with a fully charged battery and dripping directly onto the atomizer, you do get good vapor and a throat hit. The Smoking Everywhere GOLD e-cig can not and should not be confused with it's previous models that suck. The only negative thing I have to say is the price. Other than that, it does the job. Now that I know that it is a RN4081, Smoking Everywhere.com and the folks at the malls will never see another penny from me until their prices are competitive with everyone else's.

After reading some posts here, people seem to feel the pen style gives better vapor hits... I wonder how many of you agree or dissagree with this.
...

Well yeah of course. Look at the cart size of the pen style and the amount of juice it can hold, the size of the atomizer and battery compared to the RN4081.

I have a kissbox and after using it for 2 days, the atomizer is finally broken in, and I am getting a great vapor hit from it. The draw is a little to light for my taste but it is a very good e-cig. However, I would not walk around the street with that huge ... thing hanging from my mouth like I can with the RN4081 or even put it in my pocket.

What's cool about all these sellers and manufacturers is that you have all different types of e-cigs out there depending on what your needs are.

For example I use:

Smoking Everywhere Gold / PeeWee / Eaze Magnum - Everyday use on the road/street, out of the house.

Janty USA KissBox - Working at my home office in front of the computer where I can sit back and really enjoy the thing via usb passthru or regular battery when around the house, watching TV etc.

DSE901 - In places where smoking is not allowed so as not to confuse people and avoid a hundred and one questions and inquiries as to "Why are you smoking here"? Ex: Airports, indoors etc. If it does not look like a cigarette (like the others) I wont be asked. Also used as a kissbox backup at home.

RN4081 has vapor and a decent enough hit when dripped on with a fully charged battery. It does the job.

For more information on penstyle hits, I would suggest you go to the threads where the pen styles are reviewed and commented on. There are hundreds of posts already up that addresses that question and comaprison to other e-cigs. It does not really make any sense for everyone to type everything all over again on this thread.

Let's try to keep this thread going on topic which is the RN4081 models and what users have done to optimize it's performance to best suit our needs. :)

Sorry it took so long to respond..I got side tracked.

Sunrise Mall...I meant to say the South shore Mall over on Sunrise Hwy in Bay Shore. Then there is the Roosevelt field mall where that crack head over there wanted..get this...$50.00 for a Smoking Everywhere atomizer!!

I don't want to repeat what I told him.

and yes, the PeeWee and SE are the same. I purchased the PeeWee starter kit to get my hands on another set of batteries, another charger and atomizer. This is so that for those long days I'm out on the road riding, I don't have to worry about recharging batteries, I'll have 4 fully charged on me at all times. Better safe than sorry.
