A lot of people mention that they have to draw hard. The mouthpiece end of my carts have a end cap with a single tiny hole. I have a tiny screwdriver in my kit, and use it to pop the end cap off. With the end cap off, there is a about a 1/4" recess, and another somewhat larger hole. It's much easier to draw with the end cap removed.

Please be very careful if you're going to attempt making your own juice. Make sure you research the ingredients thoroughly and completely. This is your health & life you're messing with. Some seemingly harmless ingredients can be extremely harmful when heated or vaporized. Just a word of caution.

Hey All...
I have been using my SE Cig for 10 days now and am so glad to be smoke free!! Luckily I viewed igetcha69's vid on youtube about draining the atomizer. I totally soaked my cart and flooded it and thought I had broke my atomizer! I now know how to fill the old carts and drip properly. The only thing I am confused about is the term "Throat Hit." Is this the slight tinge you get in the backof your throat on the sides? Sorry for being so ignorant. I too got worked over on the price (bought it at the local mall here in oklahoma city for $90) but I get an incredible amount of vapour from the smoke plantation's Marb/High juice I bought, and it is QUITE satisfying! Please help me learn what a throat hit is, also if anyone could recommend replacement part for my cig that would be awsome! Im not sure of the model number, it's small like a filter king traditional cig, it came in a black box w/ a wall charger and 2 batts. Thanks in advance for all advice!

I've never heard of an e-cig the size of a regular cigarette, the RN4081 is a little bigger then a 100 cigarette, but I thought that this was the smallest model.

As far as what throat hit is, apparently what it is depends on who you ask. There seems to be 3 different ideas of what throat hit is, but it's basically the feeling you get in your throat like from hitting a cigarette - the feeling of smoker/vapor being inhaled. By saying throat hit some people mean it's the harshness, others say that it's the tightness you get in the throat from inhaling smokerm and I forgot what the third view is. With some low-quality e-cigs if you closed your eyes you wouldn't even know that you were inhaling vapor, because they have no throat hit, while other e-cigs give you as much of a throat hit as regular cigs do. Most people are looking for a strong throat hit, that feeling of vapor being inhaled, because just seeing it being exhaled doesn't give you the same satisfaction on feeling a nice thick mass of vapor (or smoke with regular cigs) being inhaled and filling your throat. Do you understand what is basically is now?

I am a newbie! I have had my RN4081 for about 3 weeks. I am really disappointed! It has a very hard drag, not very much vapor, and I feel that I have to drip very frequently. I smoked about 3/4 pk a day of Marlboro Lights. I was hoping that this e-cig would help me stop smoking cigarettes. It has helped a little. I am down to about 5-8 cigs a day. I just don't feel the satisfaction with the RN4081. I have extra batteries, atomizers and liquid. Nothing seems to help! I have been looking at the DSE901, but not sure if it would produce enough vapor. I am on a very tight budget so I am trying to do as much research as I can before I make another purchase. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!!

That's odd, once I started dripping and filling my own cartridges I was getting a pretty decent amount of vapor. You shouldn't have to draw hard at all though, no matter how hard you draw, you're going to get the same amount of vapor. I can inhale lighter on my RN4081 then I have to on a real cig. Try inhaling lightly, just enough to light up the LED, and take a long steady inhale until the LED starts flashing. The way you're supposed to inhale with an e-cig is a lot different then the way you inhale with a regular cigarette; this is a very common problem among people new to e-cigs, I myself was doing it wrong in the begining too, and getting frustrated. Try that soft long steady draw and get back to me.

Thanks DC! I have definatley been getting throat hits from day one. However, the sorry carts that came with my kit were AWFUL! They made me want to puke. Since I have been dripping and filling my old carts w/ e-juice from Smoke Plantation, I get hits just like a Marlboro Red/Light!! I love it! Now as for the length it IS a bit longer than my 100's Marlboro Light! That's a traditional cig to me. To craftmaker, I find the softer/longer draws produce the best vapes. At first, I was actually plugging one of the atomizer holes to try and get a denser vape, now I dont even plug it. I take softer longer draws and get denser vapes than when I would plug the hole. Try to think of it as taking a drink from a soda straw! I was dissapointed when I started as well, but now I would NEVER go back to cigarettes!! Good Luck!!

Craftmaker,

If you're having a problem with dragging, try vaping without the white cart inside the orange mouth piece. This of course means that you'll have to drip on the atomizer.

I have found that with the white cart inside the orange mouth piece does give me a little harder drag vs an orange mouth piece without the white cart.

Incase you don't know, you will constantly be dripping because dripping on the atomizer (Normally 2-3 drops) ideally gives you about 1 cigarette's worth of vape. This is great if you don't want to overvape and/or turn into a marathon vapor like many of us have done, myself included.

Also, this is wierd but it works for me. When I use batteries from Smoking Everywhere, I drip and use the orange mouth piece without the white cart inside. This gives me a great amount of vapor and throat hit. However, when using the PeeWee batteries, the drag is too light so I use the orange mouth piece WITH the white cart inside to increase my drag a little (I still drip thou).

Another note on the PeeWee batteries, the cut off time is about 3 seconds. The SE batteries gives you an extra 2-3 seconds of dragging. This really make me believe that although compatible, the 2 battereis are not made by the same manufacturer. Although more expensive, I get better performace from the SE batteries. Opinions may vary so this is just mine.

Max,

Thank you so much!! I took out the white cart and dripped on the atomizer - WOW!!! What a difference! I can't believe it! I really think I am going to like this!!

Your help was awesome!
Thanks again!!

Hey no problem, that's why we are all here.

Do yourself a favor and get your hands from puresmoker a PeeWee USB passthrough and a fresh atomizer for it.

This pass thru ROCKS!! It's like having your RN4081 on steriods.

I use the pass thru with a fresh atomizer and a few drips of cash eliquid menthol and BAM!! Wow, what a hit with great vapor. Just take it easy with the dripping. My switch ended up getting clogged making the pass thru garbage. Had to order another one. But you wont regret it.

I agree...Just got an RN 4081 passthrough and it really brings out the best in this e-cig...

This was my first e-cig, while others may be better in one way or another, I am glad this was my first because it resembles an analog which helped me kick analogs completely...

After owning this for over a month, I have had no problems with any of the batteries or atomizers. True, the carts hold very little liquid, but dripping works great...

Smoking Everywhere has a 1 year warranty, so if anything stops working you just bring it back to them or mail it in and they replace it for free (although they don't ask for a receipt, so theoretically you could get free parts until they stop selling it).

I got my RN4801 from SE and my battery crapped out after 2 weeks. (maybe because i dropped it ) and i got them to replace it no questions asked. I would recommend calling them versus emailing because they do not respond to the emails.

Does anyone know of a place that sells different empty carts for this model? I modified a pen style cart to fit on the 4801. Let me clarify; i pulled the tip off a penstyle cart and put it on a 4801. I like the penstlye tips better because i can hold the weight of the e-cig in my mouth a little more comfortably. Problem is that th

I'm really confused as to how this pertained to the post of mine that you quoted at all

I'm thinking that either you meant to click the quote button on somebody else's post, or you were just really drunk.

Yeah, VaporOptions.com has black carts. I've seen pictures of carts in all kinds of different colors, but never on a suppliers website. I really want to get a couple of green ones, or even just one.

Mine's going great! Not too crazy about the x-tra batt I got from a company online but the original batteries are awesome. My original atomizer bit the dust and they replaced it no questions asked... Do have plenty of atomizers I ordered online and extra carts from online as well... Took the paint off of one of the original batteries.. looks okay - red led and silver batt is kind of a funny look though but I like the silver battery with the black carts :D
