I might as well chime in too. I smoked for most of the past 43 years. I thought nothing would get me completely free of analogs. Then someone posted about e-cigs in an unrelated forum which eventually got me here. After a couple of days of reading I ordered a 510 kit. Within 10 days of receiving it I was off analogs completely and painlessly. I never dreamed it could be so easy. Yesterday I celebrated 5 weeks totally away from analogs. If I can do it that easily I'd venture to say you can too.

The ironic thing will be that everyone will take a piece of credit. Dad for sicking my son on me. My son for giving me a consistent and steady stream of guilt. My wife for thinking she restricted my smoking in the house and cars. My brother and nephew for laying it on thick whenever they call.

But the truth be told the quietest one in the bunch. My daughter who doesn't really talk is the reason SOMETHING HAS TO BE DONE. I just cant stand the mixed feelings I get when I crave and know I cant leave her alone. Its really very hard to describe. Kind of a combination of guilt, resentment, misplaced anger at her, and well placed anger at myself.

Make sure you dont put too much stress on yourself to stop on day one.
It doesn't happen for everyone - even most of us - though I'm not sure I can say that without a quick look over one shoulder :) I had NO intention to quit smoking - wasn't why I got a PV - I got one to cut down on smoking not give up.
There is a learning curve with using one of these babies - like anything new, you must give it a good run. You dont smoke a PV, you use a longer slower drag. And if you have crap juice you wont really feel the benefit until you get some decent juice.
10 days after I got my PV - I gave up smoking totally because I stopped enjoying it. I had NO expectations other than wanting to reduce the amount of coffin nails I used - I wanted to use 5 a day - the ones I really liked - and get rid of the others.
I still say Im just not smoking right NOW - Im not going to say Im a non smoker because I still use nicotine - and I think calling myself a 'nic user' makes me sound like a 19 y/o druggie lol. I'm neither :)
I smoked for 23 years (a baby in smoking terms!) and this is the longest Ive been smoke free since I was a REAL non smoker.
If I wanted to have a cig then Id have one - but i just have no desire to have any,
Good luck mate.
