Hi everyone just signed up though I've come here a lot in the last month to get answers to many questions i had, unfortunately i couldn't find the answer to this specific question so here it is - what do you specifically love about the provari to make you claim it as the best ecig?

I am strongly leaning towards getting a provari mini v2.5, I have been using an itaste vv/vw 3.0 for about 4 weeks (my first and only ecig) and now i want to upgrade to the best one i can get.

Provari keeps popping up as the owner of this title but i was hoping to find out specific reasons why people claim it to be so superior to the others, hopefully seeing if it fits with what i want (reliable, tons of smoke, good looking, consistent in high performance are my main wants).

I need a thicker mod as my new aerotank looks weird on my itaste v3 (even though it performs amazingly well on it) and the max i can get vape at is only 5volts or 11watts.

Also i'd love to know what device people deem on par or better then the provari - i don't want a huge collection, just one beast :)

Thanks

Volcano LT 2.5 Has a one yr warranty great CS and performs amazingly well. I have no complaints with my LT. I do not own a Provari so I cannot make a comparison. The price is close on the 2 but the LT also has VW while the provari only has VV. only real difference I see is that the provari can use 18500 batts as well as 18650 (with extension tube)

build quality, craftsmanship, reliability...simply put, the provari works. every time.
it's kind of in its own class at this point. most other regulated mods have added VW, but provari has kept their device VV only. i think of it as a specialized tool, the best at what it does. the power output is always what the screen says. the ohm reading is extremely accurate. the battery life is excellent, and it's set up so that every pull is the same, from fresh off the charger until it's time to swap out. no weak draws towards the end of battery life, it'll just cut it off if the power required isn't present.they focused on what was important to them, and made sure it excels. lots of other mods claim they perform like provaris, but most don't live up to the talk.
i have moved away from regulated devices to mechanicals, and sold or traded off all of those devices...except my provari. it doesn't get a lot of use anymore, but i still love having it available. you won't regret the purchase if you decide to pull the trigger on one.
and i have only recently gotten interested in box mods, didn't like the look, but it appears that a quality box mod is about the only device that can deliver the experience and quality that a provari does.
one other thing...if you are looking at the mini, i would recommend getting an extension cap so you can have the option of using different size batteries. may not sound like a big deal, but being able to use a 500 or 650 for a long day out instead of carrying a couple 350s makes a huge difference.
-m.

See my LT does the same thing it will give the same power until the power is no longer avail. No soft pulls at the end. not over powered to start. just a smooth vape all the way. I spent days looking at the both of them and could not really find a difference. Went with the LT because of the color options and anodized thick aluminum case. drop it all the time (2 kids 4yr the other 7months) not a scratch dent or anything.

Thanks for all the feedback! i've also been looking at the lavatube which seems like its closest competition, wish i could test them both out first

Lol i bet people are sick of questions about it i've read through a lot of threads on it already, i just wanna be 100% it is before i splash out on this thing, to get the whole package with the v2.5 mini will cost £230 in the UK!

Seriously happy with this setup! Im a die hard Kanger tank user and thus Aerotank is awesome! Of course I recoiled a few of the dual coil heads into regular single coil heads with cotton! You wont be disappointed!

I'd get that provari man you might regret it if not. The dna 30 goes to like 20+ watts (Might be much higher i dunno), probably good to start fires with but I don't think u would need more than 6 volts, maybe only if you're looking to blow clouds of vapor but for quality and for a perfect vape I'd go provari.

DNA30 goes up to 30 watts... as in dna30 :)

Don't get me wrong... I absolutely love my provari, but I would give it away for a ZNA in a heartbeat.

If I were in London, I would think about the SvoeMesto Semovar as well as the Provari (The company that designed the Kayfun). They are cheaper there for you than for those of us in North America.

They have a year warranty, Machined in Germany and do a nice job. The Nivel chip has also been used around Europe for some time.

I have both ProVari and Semovars (multiples) and enjoy them both. Warranty work would be quick for you there in London (Cloud 9 Vaping)

I think your smart in looking at a good solid "work tool" type mod....as in one you can drop over and over again with no worries.

Good luck in your decision. A Provari is always a sound decision IMHO.
