Thanks for the reassurance, been reading up on this non stop since it was mentioned and it's defo going to be my upgrade, placing my order tonight for the full kit, can't wait! 

I'll be sure to post my thoughts on it soon after

Good choice - I've read that it's a great bit of kit!

You might want to look at the Lukkos boxes next - also at cloud nine (Lukkos Puzzle Box V2 with ACS - Cloud 9 Vaping). The Italians have their own chip set (called Orione, I think) and some excellent modders.

...and you know you can't stop at just one high end mod! :)

Simply put....

1. The ProVari does what it says it does and does it exccedingly well. There is no more accurate Variable Voltage regulated mod available. There is no debate to this. When you look at the ProVari's voltage settings you look at 1/100th's of a volt discrepancy, not at typical 1/10th volt discrepancy present on ALL other devices I've seen. Again, I have not seen ONE device reviewed by pbusardo that reaches this level of accuracy.

2. The Provari hits this voltage consistently within 99 % of its setting up until the very last draw. Not only is it the most accurate device out there, it has almost zero voltage lag throughout it's discharge cycle. Other mods may come close, but they don't approach the ProVari in this regard.

3. The ProVari has a PROVEN 4 year track record. There are Version 1 ProVari's that are still out there going strong. I challenge anyone to show me a still functioning 4 year old Lavatube, Vamo, Sigelei, or similar model regulated mod.

4. ProVape will repair ANY Provari after the sale for a fraction of the cost of a brand new one. The most expensive piece is the control board and I believe that is a $65.00 repair.

5. ProVape is the ONLY company that offers an extended warranty. This shows you their confidence in the product. Yes, it's "free money" for them because odds are you will never use it. But name one other company that will agree to cover their product past a year for any price.

6. The ProVari is built to withstand abuse. The tube is "open" which allows the user to completely dry out the tube should moisture get into the device without disassembling the unit. The components chosen for the internals were chosen for their moisture resistance. This does not mean it's water proof, but it does mean that the device will not destroy itself if it comes in contact with liquid, unlike other displays (like OLED). Drop your ProVari in a mud puddle or the toilet...(don't get me started on the toilet) and odds are you will be able to dry out your ProVari and get it functioning again.

Can you get less expensive regulated units? Yes. Does the ROI on a ProVari compared to something like an MVP equal about 3 years? Yes. Can you resell a less expensive regulated unit after 3 years use for 75% of your original cost....Not likely.

The OP posted the title with "You say the provari is best but WHY???". To me, that applies to a broad range, thus covers all kinds of mod.

That's Fair Enough.

I don't like Comparing Mech Mods to Non-Mech Mods. But this Isn't my thread. And the OP didn't say that a Mech Mod wasn't a Consideration.
