For those of us new to vaping, please share your best tips to break in a new tank. I absolutely hate getting something new that I really want to love and then getting that plastic taste. I'm not very patient and hate going through 1 or 2 nasty fills before I can finally enjoy my new toy. Most of the time I give up and decide I'll vape on it some more the next day just because I can't take the taste anymore. If there is anything I can do to skip that whole process please share!

Wash well in warm water, let your juice sit in the tank for a day before vaping. Should help.

errr;; i used to keep a small v-nano with some 24mg next to my computer and take an occassional puff; i mean real occassional puff, like once or twice a day; that liquid would sit in that plastic for days and weeks, and when i started using glass tanks, the taste on plastic when i tried to use that v-nano was very very distinct.

i guess its going to vary by flavor, but i think the lesss time a liquid stays in a plastic tank the better.

Tank should be glass and metal with silicone rings... most higher end tanks make this standard to my knowledge.

Watch with soap and hot water, rinse very good. Personally I wash with soap and hot water, give it a 5-10 minute alcohol bath (it displaces the water too somewhat) then let air dry overnight. This eliminates any oils or other by products you dont want ot be vaping anyways.

Saturate the coil after isntering it, and let it sit and "prime" for 10 or so minutes. And take a few "primer" puffs.

Following those guidelines, I never have had a issue myself, and I burn through tanks like no other =P
