Everybody seems to try mixing some of the juices they've bought at one time or another.

Sometimes, you've bought a bottle of e-liquid that just doesn't do it for you -- it may be too sweet, the flavor may be too weak, or maybe it's just... blah. And yet you don't want to throw it out.

Or maybe you just set out to experiment one day, figuring that with just a bit of this and a little of that you'd make the perfect juice, or a juice that no one sells but which is just what you needed.

Whatever the reason, let's hear your success stories! What killer mixes have you come up with? Please give proportions (like 1:3:10) and vendors. And remember that the size of a drop from a 10 ml needlenose bottle is not the same as one from a 50 ml blunt tip bottle.

To be clear, I'm talking about commercial juices that you mixed together in order to create something new -- this is not the place for vendors to divulge their secret recipes (not that I expect them to!)

In the next post, I'll start.

Clove tobacco

10 parts MBV Vanilla Tobacco
2 parts MBV Clove

I love MBV Vanilla Tobacco by itself, and I like their Clove a lot, too, but only occasionally -- it's too intense for prolonged vaping. At the same time, I loved clove cigarettes when I smoked. So I tried this recipe and it rocks. Three parts of clove was a little to clovey for my tastes. I can vape this for hours.

Cinnamint Fruit Blast

10 parts of your favorite fruit e-juice
4 parts Dekang Mint
3 parts Dekang Cinnamon

This creation kills two birds with one stone -- it provides a uniquely refreshing vape, and it uses up the cheap fruit liquid I have sitting around, and which in many cases has very little flavor on its own. I've used Dekang and Liqua apple for the fruit component, as well as Dekang pineapple, blueberry, lemon, strawberry and honey. It really doesn't matter, as the cinnamon and mint mask any other flavors extraordinarily well.

This mix provides a totally refreshing mix of hot and cool, along with a generic fruit note that gives it a bit of complexity. I'm also experimenting with fruit liquids I actually like one their own, like MBV Mango, and the results are even better.

(Coming up with fanciful names is not a requirement in this thread, but it is very well regarded, obviously :2cool:)

Peanut Double Butter

2 parts Dekang Peanut Butter
1 part Dekang Cream

Dekang's Cream should really be labeled "Butter", as that's exactly what it tastes like. Hence the "double" in the name. The butter flavor is really strange to my palate when vaped alone (not bad, just odd), but mixed with peanut butter, it's simply delicious.

Prat Juice

1 ml MBV Pear
1 ml MBV Red Apple
5 drops MBV Tangerine (from a big 50 ml bottle)

I like both MBV Red Apple and MBV Pear on their own, but I'm finding that even the best single-fruit juices can lack a bit of complexity, which seems to be part of what keeps a juice interesting over time, and this juice achieves that.

Mixing pear and red apple was just natural -- these two tastes go so well together in pies and drinking juice. I'll be honest about the MBV Tangerine -- on its own, it tastes like sour candy drops to me, and I don't like that, so I'm looking for a way to actually get some use out of it. And it works very nicely in this mix!

(Clearly, I've run out of clever names...!)

1/2 MBV peanut butter
1/2 strawberry
Peanut butter & jelly

I'm about to try this with Surprise Grape subbed for Strawberry. :)

All from MBV in their standard bottles. I mix this in a small 5ml bottle:

2ml Moo Juice
1ml Cake(Yellow)
1ml Whipped Cream
3 drops of Madagascar Vanilla Flavoring
2 drops of Sweetener

Strawberry Shortcake. Smells like strawberry muffins baking.

Okay, I'm late, but I like this thread, and I love mixing and tweaking, so that I almost never have to throw away an unsatisfactory juice. The following are mixtures I vape almost every day:

Any bland tobacco flavor at 80 percent plus Velvet Vapors gingerbread (pure PG version) at 20 percent, redeems the tobacco.

Teaberry 80 percent plus root beer float 20 percent. Can't explain the dynamics, but it makes the loveliest sweet spicy vape.

Ares eCig black clove 20 percent plus Mount Baker Vapor clove 80 percent. Ares black clove flavor is very authentic and outrageously delicious, but I ordered a big bottle in 70/30 PG/VG before I knew better, and it's a dark liquid, so it starts to vape like cement after a short time, and gunks my coils. When I cut it with MBV clove it vapes cleanly and the mixture tastes great. When I reorder the Ares, it will be in 100 percent PG. With thicker liquids, honestly I find that vapor production doesn't suffer that much in 100 percent PG. Maybe it doesn't make huge billowy clouds, but I only need to have a certain amount of vapor on exhale to be satisfied.
