OK folks me again.

We have just spent the past 10 days getting acquainted with our new eGo-T Type A starter kit.

At the beginning the system worked fine. However as time went on and the parts started to ware we started to experience all the issues everyone seems to run into with Joyetech tank system. That is primarily leaking and flooding of the atomizer. I've tried everything, literally, listed on Google and Youtube to remedy these issues. None have worked so we made a decision to move on from Joyetech's tanks.

I don't know how Joyetech can still make and release this system when so many people have issues with it, including myself. But good thing we bought something with the 510 connectors. That was one of the primary reasons we bought this starter kit.

In the meantime until we can order and get delivered some new Clearos/Cartos we've been using some prefilled Cartos that you can buy at the Tobacco Shops et al. Just been filling them up when they run out and they work perfect.

Now your Mission if you choose to accept it, Agent Smart...

I'm fairly new to the eCig scene and have only started to become acquainted with all the crap, I mean stuff associated with the making the juice into Vapor. Now I would like to move forward but want a fairly good cross section of decent Cartos and Clearos. Someone in another thread I started stated getting a CE4+. Well I do plan on getting one of those.

My primary Caveat during this whole Shin-Dig is I wish to keep everything as Low Resistance as possible. Other than that I would like input from experienced users of these products.

So if you had $40 burning a hole in your pocket and you wanted to maximize your spending power with acquiring as much as possible what would you buy?

First which Cartos would be good for my eGo T, remember talking LR here so nothing more than 2ohms.

Recently I heard that the Boge Cartos were starting to suffer in the Quality Control department. Is this true and if so which other brands are preferred over the Boge Cartos? What about the Larger Cartos so we don't have to fart around as much filling things up?

Remember I would like to have the option of trying out other brands, sizes and such.

Now in order to replace the Capacity from the Type A Tank from Joyetech I wish to get some Clearos. As stated above someone already said the CE4+; do they makes these in LR versions? Also I see them from different manufacturers and they have different names but are essentially the same product. Are there any specific brands which are preferred?

Should I get a pack of CE3s and CE4s a long with some other models that aren't going to deplete the entire $40 budget?

Remember the Mission. Be as creative as possible please and mix in competitors products where appropriate. I'm trying to buy as much for as little as possible.

Only you can complete this mission and make the Entire ECF Army Proud.

Good day and Good Hunting...

Regards
TIM

So I should get a tank that I can replace the Cartos in, and punch wholes in them to make them work.

I like that Deal for all those cartos. We should start a thread talking about which websites have the deals. Even if it is for just an odd or an end.

By the which tanks and Clearos can I do this with?

ALso I find it a little, or a lot, confusing dealing with all the different makes of these apparatuses. They are essentially the same shape but might have different ohm Cartos/Attys etc. But they are given different names which one needs to be accustomed too. Need a compendium on such a subject.

Also I want to TRY LR Vaping for the first time. See how much more kick I can get while increasing the Wattage overall. I'm new at this game and would like to check it out.

I'd probably go this route:

Try Electronic Cigarettes, Vaping Supplies, and Tasty Juice - Vaping Me

Kanger T2s are $5
Replacement atty for T2 = $1

eGo Stardusts are $3.50

Both are can be rebuilt.

2x Stardust = $7
2x Kanger T2 = $10
5x Kanger T2 = $5

Total of $22 + shipping.

You still got money to throw around to try more stuff or add 1 more of each tank, which would bring your total up to $30.50.

At that price point, you'll have 6 clearos to play with :)

That is probably the route I'm going to go, I think shipping is free after $25, so I was actually going to get myself 3x Kanger T2s, 5x attys, 2x Stardusts, $27 bucks. Spend the $13 on juice somewhere or DiY :)

I would get 2 Vivi nova tanks. And 4 bridgeless atomizers. Drip at home. Tank for the road the Vivi you can buy all the parts separately so when the atomizer burns out you can order just that.

Happy vaping

Damn, you beat me to the Vivi Nova suggestion. I second this motion as the Vivi Nova (get the v 2.5 version) you have the choice of getting extra coils in the 1.8ohm range so you can keep it LR. I've used the 2.4 ohm successfully on my ego-C, but it's a pass through and can do unregulated voltage, so that may be why.

There are ego tanks (from smoketech I belive) that can take cartos and probably look better on your ego than a regular tank system, but I haven't tried those but they do take regular 35mm cartos.

While you can load up fairly well on any one style for 40 bucks, I think the OP is really wanting to try different delivery systems. If I am right then I would go with something like the following:

Pack of Boge SS 510 LR cartos, look for ones with the long and short condoms, not the ones with two short ones. $7
Pack of SmokTech SS DC LR cartos $8
Smoktech mega dual coil carto $3.00
Pack of CE2's $3.50
Pack of CE3 or 4 or 5 or 6 etc $10
Kanger T2 V2 clearo $4.50
Stardust style clearomizer 3 or higher $3.50
Chibi tank $6 (Punch your own carto with a nail or screw or use a dremel - see youtube)

A touch over your 40 if you want to compare the Boge and Smoktech LR cartos.

Vivi Nova 2.5 is very nice so far but breaks the bank for your budget.

This is pretty much what my wife and I have been through over the last month since we started. I could share our experience and findings as newbies but every one of these has supporters who love them and those who hate them with a passion. it's about finding what's right for you and trying as many options as you can to find that fit for as cheap as possible.

That is exactly what I had in Mind.

I should have made that apparently clear, avoiding ambiguity, from the start.

I was wanting to try out my other options.

I went ahead and pulled the trigger last Wednesday and bought some stuff from "Good Prophets" in PA.

Since I didn't really know what all to get from the device's end I went ahead and purchased a of eGo 2.4ml CC CE4 Clearomizers and a Pack of the Aforementioned Boge 510D LR Cartomisers. In retrospect I though I was buying something that was rated around 1.5ohm-1.8ohm but now that I'm really paying attention the website says 2.0ohm-2.4ohm. No big whoop since the eGo Clearos come in at ~1.8ohm

So I bought a Pack of Clearos and a pack or Cartos and then the rest of the $40 I used on some eJuices. I really dig this Coconut and wasn't too impressed with the Cotton Candy - all Juices I bought were DeKang since they were just a little Cheaper.
Question, does it matter from who I get the Liquids from? Does it make it that big of a difference the quality if I don't mind getting something just a little cheaper. That thinking can really bite me in the buttox since this stuff is from China and we are all aware of the Quality Control of some of the Crap we purchase from there. The Manufacturers aren't too concerned with sending out crap when we are more than happy to throw something away when it only cost the price of a McDonald's Happy Meal.

And by the way I have used four of the five Clearos that I bought and one of them Leaks. I've pulled it apart and cleaned it up, even with 91% IPA to make double sure that all surfaces coming in contact with each other were CLEAN.

After cleaning I put the base and the tube together and instead of putting eJuice to test for leaking I used some Vegetable Juice. Bummer I just looked over at it; it's been an hour since I did my work, and guess what - it still leaks... Aye Chingada. Oh-Well I have some spare bits to fix stuff up. I don't like throwing things away. Especially since I see these E-CIGS as being more of a hobby like Racing RC Cars. Since we all have to keep up on maintenance and repair of our electronic devices.

I've been brushing up on my Electronics and Machining since I do at least plan on making some Tanks to satisfy my idea of being able to do something with this hobby of mine. I look at a Penelope and I think I could do one better.

By the way the first thing I did when I got the package in the mail was put some RY4 into one of the BOGE Cartos and it was about the Harsh Hit outside of something else I use to smoke since I use to smoke that something else. I though I had really screwed up but I guess that Liquid at 18mgs doesn't lend itself to well to LR Vaping. But using Coconut, Strawberry and Cotton Candy in the same TYPE of cartos produces and excellent Vape.

I will be checking out the other suggested apparatuses here in the meantime for an order next month perhaps. Will for sure be getting some Nominal Standard Resistant Cartos to see how the treats some of these harsher eJuices.
