I have built what I feel is my perfect build. Fantastic.

Makes me sad to know I'll have to take it apart soon :(

Anyone else get this way? Like, you make something great...and know you'll have to destroy it eventually? lol

I got it running at 1.7ohms using 32g kanthal and 400 mesh. Which I love. Guess I'll start shooting for those numbers when I make a build. Lower than that doesn't really seem right to me, and higher is too cool.

My ERA, is by far my favourite rebuildable.....

0.8ohm 28ga coil with 500ss mesh

if i ever pop the 28ga(still havent), it takes me less than a minute to wrap a new coil.

Once i set that curl on 500SS mesh, it hasnt moved.
WAY cleaner than any silica wick setup i have used and seen.
AND i can vape it until it is bone dry.

This thing has given me zero trouble compared to the Geni-tanks.

Actually, I'm uploading one now to my photobucket lol.

Its not the best quality picture, as it was taken with my phone on my desk at work lmao, but at least you'll get to see.

my photo was taken in the exact same manner... lol

POST IT UP!

Its pretty self explanatory, what he's talking about. Just burn the coils while there is no juice in the tank by pulsing. It'll burn off the gunk. You may need to scrape some off, but it should come off pretty easily, so no worry about messing up your coils. I just gave it a try a bit ago. Worked fine. Needed to refill my tank anyway, so I ran some water through it and dry burned. It did clean up nicely....still worried about the wick in the tank though.

Try removing the wick, then give it a nice torch to burn of the unwanted build up. If you don't like to torch, boil it or let it soak in some alcohol. Rolling a new wick is always an option, but if its new, I suggesting trying to remove the build up.

I've never used anything lower than 32 gauge, but from what I've read using lower gauge wire with more surface area [ on the wick ] reduces the buildup.
