I don't mean to complain, I am just tired of inconsistencies of carto problems, and vivi nova tank problems. Cartos I seem to get a lot of bad ones. Vivi nova just tends to drip down inside, so a lot of cleaning not a big issue. I also seem to run into problems with e liquid, but thats for another time.

I was curious what the community and personal opinion on the Z atty pro, Cobra atomizer, and there seems to be others out there. While expensive, I could shell out the money, If it was truly the best of the best. For 150 bucks I would think it would have to be on a whole other level. The thing that catches my eye with cobra, i guess you can have two wicks, unsure if thats even needed. Thing about Z atty is it goes well with my provari v2. Not a lot of customer reviews out there that I could find.

If anybody could fill me in on this, sorry I have been off the forums lately. Busy with full time school.

the cobra is titanuim with 5 holes in the body for all kinds of possibilities, the zap just looks nice on the pv and thats about all it has going for it. the DID is topnotch as well.
before shelling out 150+ to find its not for you get a cheap DID clone or aga to play with. then if you like it step up to a well made one.

5 holes? I guess I missed that part. Geez, well I do like something that can give a nice kick. I am going to look into the other one you talk about. Thanks for the information. I don't mind the playing and setup. I just want to get the best flavor and vapor and hit I can get. And curious if these are all they say they are.

I have the Z Atty Pro and I love it... a million times better than cartos. Went to a vape meeting last sunday and tried out a DID Clone and several other genesis top end models and found them all about equal in flavor and vapor production. Don't know what was wrong with the the Z Thrasher tried but any genesis would be crappy if not wicked and coiled correctly.

mm the top post is freaking high, the topcap falls off at the slightest touch, the centerpost is glued in not bolted together. the draw is like sucking on a papertowel tube to me.

it (in my own opinion) is outdated and overpriced and is selling now purely on aesthetics because it makes the PV look like a hybrid and the pedegree of ZENS name on it and would do nicely with a few upgrades and is not worth the 150 dollar pricetag now that there is so many topshelf atty's available, back when it was one of the few yea but not now.
check some of my posts on completely unoxidized wicks, i think i can wrap a coil....

and setup correctly just about any geni kicks ...., not much difference. the price tag will usually correspond to how well it is built and the quality of the machining. i just usually think its better to play with a cheap one to see if all the mesh and wire and playing and tinkering is something your comfortable with before blasting 150 bucks for an atty + more for supplies.

im not raggin im just stating what i think is wrong with the zap

there are a few posts right now with people having the ZAP post popping up. im not saying it always happens, but once it does its not like you can just send it in for a repair.
something like the cobra is solid with a brass screw through the center to make a center post, the DID and several others like the aga are 3 piece bodies "bottom plate, center post, top plate" but still use the same center pin design. there is no movement in a screw mounted from the bottom with a nut on the the top, to be honest i only recently learned that the zaps post is glued in and was shocked zen would make them this way.

also with something like the cobra, DID, AC9, somnium, and several others if you go to the websites you see they sell replacement parts. bushings, screws, rings etc.

i bought a DID clone just to try, think it was 18 bucks, since then except for rebuildable drippers genesis tanks are all i use.

some, very few, but some people dont care for the flavor as taste is always subjective. but i like them better, it took awhile to get it just right, at first i was like ehhhh its ok, but i played and played and suddenly POW the flavor started ripping and the nic is so much more powerful and you feel it in a totally different way. i dropped everthing lol the T2's the novas. and started buying just geni's to try.

set up just right the vapor will choke you down.

my 2 cents....the Cobra is top notch and is designed perfectly. It is made of titanium so it is very light. I have to back Trasher here I would get the Cobra or the DID over the Zen. But that is our opinion.

BTW if you are a carto user you will not like the vape of the zen...way too airy of a draw. I think you will like the Cobra much better...since it has a warmer carto like vape except it vapes a lot cleaner.

For the record i've taken my Z completely appart and the center post is NOT glued in. I've not had trouble with the top cap falling off at all and from what I've read there have been improvements made to the device over time. I got my Z atty in January. Been Vaping on it for almost 2 months now. Took it completely appart and rebuilt it just to understand the design and practice rewicking and coiling it.
I like it. I've tried DID Clones and other genesis atomizers at Vape meets and don't find any one superior over the Z. They all work well and do what they are supposed to, although some of the cheaper models have issues. To me it's not just about how well it will vape but for how long?? How durable is it and when am I going to have to replace it? Some are built to last out of quality materials and excellent engineering, some are not. Mods and accessories are just like cars. An Escort will get you there but how well will it handle and for how long?
You generally get what you pay for in life. You buy cheap, you get cheap. I know 4 people that own the Z Atty Pro and they all love it, and have not had any issues. I got mine in recommendation from one of these individuals and I'm not sorry I did at all.

If your center post is not glued in how is your delrin(the black piece) held into the body?

I haven't heard of this being a wide spread issue, but a few of us did have the delrin post come loose. When it does it can no longer make solid positive contact with your mod, and it needs to be repaired.
