Hi,

I was looking at selecting a stack of premade vape juice over time to get a gauge on flavours, and various ratios and decided to order zamplebox subscription for a few months.

E Liquid Products, E Juice, & Vape Box Subscriptions | ZampleBox

So I did a brief search on the forum and found a few threads but the earliest was 2016. Anyone still using it? Any alternatives that you’d recommend?

Zamplebox was the cheapest subscription service I found, I kinda like changing flavors out so used that for 6 months or so. Not happy with their CS (had a bottle leak everywhere, they wouldn't replace it, just offered a 10% discount on my NEXT box) so I quit. Some flavors were really good, some were crap. Not a terrible deal, just bad CS.

I just went to that link and found the process to be deceptive. When you get to the point of purchasing the product they have you go through a series of flavor selection screens first. If you order the highest nic juice (12) there is some very small writing in white on a grey background (the rest of the screen is bright neon coloring) to let you know that your bottles of juice are only 15 ml instead of 30 ml. Then when you pick your plan they have the price per bottle in a giant bright green font with the actual price per month in tiny light grey-on-white font. That put me off of the service immediately. I won't even begin a business relationship with a company that appears to be dishonest right out of the gate.

I agree with that, I hadn’t seen it but will assess it before purchasing so thanks for the heads up.

It’s unfortunate that companies pull that stunt especially with the ability for bad reviews to spread like wildfire.

One thing I have noticed is that sometimes people will sign up for something and get less than what they thought they were getting. If they are emotionally invested in the purchase then they will blow off the difference and rationalize the decision. In this case if they like to hang out in vape shops where the prices are more like $30 for a 30 ml bottle then they can tell their buddies that they are still getting a great deal. With that company offering only lower nic options and maxing out at 12 nic, it seems to be more for the higher Wattage vaper.

Just having a look at some of the other options it looks like they’re a bit rich for what they are.

But On the subject does anyone know of any suppliers that do any subscription services? Instead of a mystery box, just pick your flavours and subscribe to them?
I've read about the Dollar Juice Club. Not sure if they are still around, might be worth checking out.

Zamplebox sucks in my opinion. You'd be better off ordering "tester" bottles until you come up with things you like. It's doesn't have to be a "mystery" option, many juice makers will let you pick your own flavors and send a batch in small quantities. Apparently, Zamplebox lets you do that, slowly over time after they've sent you six months of well, leftover, bad juices no one wants to buy (or so it seems to me). I hate subscription services anyway. I'd suggest visiting a vape store that will let you taste flavors, and once you have figured out flavor profiles you like, find some decent, inexpensive juice makers online and develop some juices you like. You don't have to put yourself on subscription, either! Order when you need juice, or when sales are happening, and etc.

As far as I'm concerned, I do a far better job "selecting" and "purchasing" myself, using my OWN tastes, not some subscription service.

Have I mentioned yet I consider subscription services tools of the devil? Well, I have now. I wouldn't use Zamplebox unless you PAID me to do it, and the folks leaving positive feedback, well, I assume they haven't vaped long and/or don't feel like I do about subscription services. I really hate them, there are far better "deals" out there with more flexibility. I'd rather try a few juices I didn't like on my own. Although, I DIY now so it's a moot point for me, but I can't say I'd recommend them based on what I know about them....

I'm a member of Zamplebox. I opt for 6 bottles a month. It doesn't seem to get many good reviews on here but I really love it. The algorithm of what you do and don't want to receive in terms of flavors really works. (But with that being said, it is your responsibility to put effort into star reviews and choosing the flavors you like and don't like in their system.) I've now been a member long enough that I can pick my own flavors. I'm always excited to receive the mystery flavors though and have rarely had a dud. Zamplebox isn't my only juice source, plus I'm learning to DIY - but I plan to keep my subscription. Hope that helps!
