ZAP Impressions - few weeks in

Hey Y'all,

Been on leave a few weeks and haven't been able to post. Bought a ZAP before I left and wanted to share some thoughts if anyone was interested in general or in buying one.

Really enjoying the vape I get from the ZAP, its flavour is fantastic and the clouds are decent.

Its expensive but worth it I think, the most annoying trait it has is the top cap popping off so easily. Some have said thats because the juice lubes the o-ring and makes it slip easier, so I clean mine constantly but it keeps happening.

If I had one piece of advice for Zen, make the top cap lockable! How hard would that have been to make it twist lock! Seriously surprised that wasn't just made like that...

Oh well, its still worth it but I dropped by top cap and scratched it badly now it looks really crap but still vapes a charm

yeah, careful with the top cap especially if you have some ceramic in there....it will take a nasty angle and break your wick if you're not careful.
But it's a nice piece, congrats on the purchase.

I have found that the the top caps on all of my Zenesis devices stay pretty firmly on whether wet or dry.
You might want to change the o rings and see if that helps.

Actually, the top caps on my ZAPs come off harder than my AGA-T2s, AC9, and RSSTs. Not as hard as the Cobras though.

Mine is tight too but the problem is, a bit of side pressure and the top cap will fly because the insert is short. Its a design choice I suppose, a longer insert would have come at the expense of the overall length or the tank capacity. Just a matter of taking good habits with it and avoiding potentially bad moves when on ceramic. definitely not pocket friendly imo, still a great atty.

I'm using SS mesh but still annoying when the top cap hits it and I have to straighten it again before vaping...

Twist lock cap would save sooo many issues...
