I know how you feel. The V3 is a solid device in every way except for the button. I decided to replace the button since I liked the V3 so much. The replacement button is of much better quality and only costs about 3 bucks. The difference is like night and day. I bought a Vamo V3 as a backup while I fixed the V3 and I ended up giving the Vamo to my wife because I bought a second sigelei. I haven't had any problems with the 2nd one yet, but I've only had it for about 2 weeks. I heard the newer production V3's have a better button. I can tell it's different because it has a black background through the clear outer button.
If you'd like to fix both of our V3's but don't feel up to doing the fix yourself, I'd be more than happy to do it for you for free. I'm a 22 year Air Force radio electronics tech, and I've already fixed mine and my Dad's V3's. I could fix both of yours in less than an hour as long as you pay for the shipping both ways and purchase the replacement switches at Digikey. The part number can be found in the button replacement instructions I wrote up on the forum (link is in my post #11 above). I have two sigelei V3's going strong, so don't worry, I'm absolutely not interested in keeping yours once you send them to me (I don't roll that way anyway). Just trying to help out a fellow vaper.
