Vavg Vs RMS - A Brief Explanation
Smoktech's earlier model, the VMAX delivers its output based on Vavg or Mean Average Voltage - which means it delivers a higher actual voltage and "hits harder" than other mods which are calibrated to deliver RMS (Root Means Squared) Voltage. This is because Vavg takes all the pulsed Voltages (which are constantly spiking) and averages them out thereby providing a higher average than is actually set on the unit. Some users prefer their mods to use RMS calibration mode and it can be said to be more accurate because it samples the output Voltage repeatedly while it is powering an atomiser or cartomiser and uses these sample measurements to adjust for heat related Voltage drift.
The ZMAX MINI allows the user to select whether they wish the device to set the output based on Vavg or RMS calculations so all preferences are catered for.

ZMAX MINI BODY AND EXTENSION ONLY. Batteries, chargers, and all other components must be purchased separately.
We recommend you use only GENUINE AW LiMN chemistry batteries in the ZMAX.
Beware, you may kill your atomisers if you vape them at too high a voltage, you have been warned!
We do not stock the original larger version of the ZMAX as we believe its design is inherantly unsafe. The safety flaws in the larger ZMAX unit do not apply to the mini ZMAX or the larger VMAX.
The ZMAX has a 60-day warranty against manufacturer defects.

- Can accomodate an AW IMR18490/18500 Battery with the extension tube included
- Adjustable from 3.0 to 6.0 Volts in .1 volt increments or 3.0 to 15 Watts in .5 Watt increments
- RMS or Vavg mode selectable*
- Built-in three digit display (blue)
- Up to 5 Amp output capability
- Recessed 510/eGo atomiser connection which directly accepts both standard 510 atomisers/cartomiser as well as eGo style ones such as the Vision Vision eGo Clearomisers
- Enlarged vent hole on base cap for safety (only available at C9V)
- Approx Dimensions: 21mm x 95 or 110mm depending on format
