My 1st Mod (Dual 18650, variable) The Sev~Vari I

Hey all,

Here is my 1st mod. I took inspiration from many of the box mods out there. Just tried to pull together the features of each I liked. I take no credit for the features or form, just put them together. And this is for my personal use. Its by no means perfect ergo the designation "I". But a good start I think. It Vapes like a Champ!

Parts:
madvapes vv board (linear regulator, 70% inefficiency :-( )
-> future will move up to switching "buck" regulators

3 amp horn momentary switch (Madvapes)
-> may go smaller physical switch in future.

6 amp DPDT toggle switch (Radio Shack)

2x 18650 2400 mAh Trustfire Flames (Deal Extreme)

18650 battery holders (Deal Extreme)

RC volt meter (Deal Extreme)

green LED (Madvapes)

510 connector (Madvapes)

Plasti Dip (Home Depot)

A little silver solder, a little free time and a desire to Vari~Vape...

Good point. Originally the back of the tin was coated with Plasti-Dip. Nice feel and finish. However was not durable flying across the Camero. I re-did the black with Dupli-Color bed lines, with 4 coats of clear varnish on top. Now it is really durable.

One other note. I found a MP3 / smart phone case at Wall Mart. It was for carrying your tunes on a arm strap while exercising. Just removed the strap. It has a large window on one side, and the top already has a hole with elastic, for the head phones. It makes for a great protective case when traveling.

Have though about strapping the PV to my arm, but thats just crazy talk...LOL ;-)

hey im new to the whole mod seen. im an auto tech. i was wondering if some one could help me out. im looking for a wiring schematic for the big altoids box i want to use 4000mah batteries with adj voltage while i vape. is there anything out there like that?

I haven't seen anyone do an Altoids box before (of course I'm still new). That's really awesome! I really want to start studying modification more so I can get to making myself a cool a$$ed box like that.
