Firstly you have to check that your device is capable of firing sub-ohm clearomizers. All devices will come with the resistance range which they can fire between. Next is the batteries, you need a high amperage battery. The most common and well regarded ones are Samsung 25r and Sony VTC4, ensure you get genuine batteries though.
Warning: The Aspire Atlantis Sub Ohm Clearomizer Tank will not work with any battery thats not capable of firing down to 0.5 ohms. This means you will need a mechanical mod, or a high wattage regulated mod. This was copied from the Aspire Alantis Web site. I think this offers the explanation your looking for. Hope this helps. .another words if your battery is not capable of firing down to .5 ohms it won't work. Check the specs on the batteries so you will know which will work with the Alantis. Best wishes
