Bottom button unscrewed, now not firing

I just got a mod and I LOVED it. It was working beautifully, but I accidentally unscrewed the bottom firing button trying to tighten the locking nut into the unlocked position. I put the bottom back on, with the spring I found on the floor, but it won't fire. Is there something besides the little contact button inside, the 'ring', the spring and the actually push bottom button, like a washer or o-ring or something I didn't find on the floor that goes in there. It's like it simply won't make contact with the battery anymore.

Fixed it. Sorry for the post. I must have panicked and screwed it in too tight, and the pin wasn't going up far enough to make contact with the battery. In any case, it's working fine again.
