I admit I haven't tried other store bought juices but the only creamy custard flavor I have really liked and bought is from Chapter XII and is called Hemingway. I have been looking for this flavor and I haven't really found it in the following:
--- my flavor comments are shake and vape 15% or 6% for Catalan cream. I know, should steep.
Cap vanilla custard v2 - seems full and a bit floral to me
TFA french vanilla - sweeter vanilla. Too strong and floral at 15%
TFA vanilla bean gelato - little less floral and full but similar to vanilla custard
TFA sweet cream - mild, less full than vanilla custard, not floral, more milky. Pleasant
LA Bavarian cream - tangier, more cheese smell compared to vanilla custard
TFA whipped cream - very different flavor, almost plasticy at 15%. This is the dominant flavor in Mt Bakers sweet cream. This is part of the flavor I'm looking for but not the custard part of Hemingway
TFA dulce de leche
FA Catalan cream - my first thought was creamy lemon bar
LA vanilla butternut
Mt Baker Vanilla Custard - floral, like cap vanilla custard v2
Mt Baker sweet cream
Anybody tried Hemingway that might have a lead on that great creamy custard flavor? I've heard it compared to mothers milk which I haven't tried.
Second question lots of receipts seem to call for vanilla swirl. From what I have above which could approximate vanilla swirl by TFA?
