Do I really need syringes/pipettes?

If you don't mind forgoing accuracy, then they are not needed. You can get away with single flavor large batches that way. Efficient DIY starts with small batches that can be accurately repeated at any volume. I would hate to have to dump a 120ml bottle of harsh mistake.
No it is not necessary to have syringes. Though syringes make mixing allot faster and easier.
Pain? Not really, unless you put too much of something by accident. The same thing can be said about syringes, though I make less mistakes using accurate measuring tools.

Graduated cylinders are great for mixing larger batches of nicotine base. I have them in 100, 25 and 10 ml sizes. For measuring a couple of ml or less you need graduated pipettes or syringes for accurate measurement (like flavorings). Without accurate measurement it is very difficult to replicate any recipes accurately.

another thing i might add is measuring with beakers.. the best thing to use for accurate measurements are cylinders.. beakers are used for mixing your liquids.. if you look closely to a beaker.. it says "approximately" 500ml or 100ml.. and so on.. just wanted to toss that out there.
Oh man!!! I want that kit!!! LOL I have been thinking of going with Measuring Cylinder but had only been able to find one here or 2 there. Nice bundle!!
I can't seem to measure very accurately with pipettes, except for pure VG. As soon as I pull it out of the bottle the measurement changes. I'm sure technique has a lot to do with it. I prefer syringes with blunt tip needles, hard to screw that up. But I'm all about repeatability...
Yeah, i'd think you would want to make smaller batches to find out what % flavor you want. Why wouldn't you buy a syringe or 3? Blunt tips are like 60 cents and target has syringes for 10 cents each.
I ordered 3 syringes and a 50 pack of pipettes. I think that should do for now. I'm planning on making fairly large batches, I started an office pool and will probably make a small test batch for myself followed by a large bulk batch for the group.

Some folk swear for pipettes, others at. I'm in the latter group. I found 'em near useless. Gotta have my syringes though!
Good advice.
For mixing 5 ml sample batches, I have to have both syringes and pipettes.
