What size allen wrench is needed to remove the screws?

Have an eleaf Istick 50W started to smoke when I plugged in the usb into a a usb port on my desktop.
Only had it for 24 days. Works fine but can not charge the batteries.

My eleaf 30w works when it wants to for a few hours at a time, it displays atomizer short, protection,
no atomizer. Sometimes it will fire the atomizer even after the button has been released, and device turned off. I have to take the atomizer off to make it stop.

I have to use a wall charger, mine doesn't seem to notice if I plug it into my computer either

I can no longer charge The Istick 50w need to take batteries out to charge. Usb board in Istick is toasted.

The istick doesn't have "batteries" that you can take out to charge, it is a battery pack that is soldered in place

And IIRC they take a T6 torx type driver to remove...I could be wrong about that, if so sorry

Did you buy the item new or second hand?

ooops... another Istick bites the dust..... seems to be a common problem with loose usb ports and autofiring...

return it asap. If you've only had it 24 days, it is probably still under warranty.

818vape does 15 day return. Brand new.
There are 2 batteries wired in parallel. The batteries have tabs.
mine never auto fired. the usb port just started smoking like it shorted out on the 50watt..
Have gone to mechanical mods.

On the 30watt it would just stay firing even when turned off.
