ENDD vs PV vs e-cig

A friend of mine asked me for some advice regarding e-cigs for her husband. I imparted my small amount of wisdom and told her he should go to a vape shop. She told me today that he got an "electronic nicotine delivery device".

Is this just an e-cig? Are ENDD, PV, and e-cig all interchangeable terms or are there distinctions between the three? Just trying to learn the lingo

That's an interesting one Jennifer. I've not heard ENDD used here before. I strongly suspect they are all the same thing.

People are always saying that e-cig is a bad name for our devices. I like ENDD.

They're all one and the same, but up to personal preference.
Some hate using e-cig, because of the connection to analog cigs.
Some hate vaporizer because there's a whole different device category that vaporizes *other material*, and we don't want to be lumped in with that category.
And I've never heard of ENDD (been vaping for over a year). I doubt the majority of people would know what you're talking about.

Personally, I use 'e-cig' because most people know what I'm talking about. That's just me, however. Each of these terms have their own issues.
