I don't care how vapey it is, Juicewhore? Pass

"A rose by any other name..."

Why do some people get hung up over the name? Us Aussies are pretty laid back and it's a great gag if you ask me :)

Like I said before, going from Dekang to JW Flavors is like going from Maccas to fine dining. Makes it pretty hard to go back!

Lol, got a vegemite vape? I think I would actually like to try a chicken soup e-liquid though.

Wow, that logo is all kinds of wrong :)

kalvin how much was the shipping?
Is it ever! It is very offensive, especially to a girl. I would not be buying there based on that logo. Someone should email them to change that, yes even the name is just wrong. I am sure he must know that to respectable girls, this would be offensive? He will lose buisness for sure on that one! LMAO

He is actually a she, and she (Del) is a very nice lady both to deal with online and via the phone. Absolutely goes out of her way in regards to customer service. As Soundasleep said, Aussies are pretty laid back and tongue in cheek, and sometimes other people just don't get us at all :)

As a girl who worked in retail for years, we could not even say merry xmas to our customers because it could have offended muslims or jews or hindu's etc etc. We were allowed to say Seasons Greetings and that's it! I guess the girl that has the site doesn't regard people as a whole, but rather her own personal choice not considering anyone but herself. Which is fine. I won't be buying there, and I am sure there will be others that feel the same way. People will choose to do what they want regardless of poise, respectfullness and manners! I have no doubt in my mind that DEL is a wonderful person who is great to deal with! I just don't think the icon or the name is appropriate no matter what country you are from!

Thus pointing out the huge difference between Aussies and many other countries ;)

Come Xmas time here you will find carols in every shopping center (driving those working in retail slowly insane), trees everywhere and even the occasion nativity scene. As an atheist I think a lot of this is deluded (and stolen from earlier Pagan traditions) but hell, it's Christmas! Catch up with the fam, enjoy and chill. Sink a few beers and life is good!

If it helps, Del is actually in the process of setting up a mirror site with a "less offensive" name. That should keep everybody happy :)

As an aside, you do know there is an American juice supplier called "Wet Your Stick"...

Personally I think people just need to relax and see the humour...but I get that for many people said humour can be a bit lacking (not a dig at you Danesnpits, just a generalisation).

@kalvinf, will post up some feedback when I receive the mixed juices. I appreciate the compliment :), but its just from reading ECF. I spent a couple hours on Hapyvapes trying to figure out how to go about buying flavors in pure confusion, read as much as I could here and then begged for some help and, thankfully, got it in spades. I'm really looking forward to diy mixing though.

I think there might be a cultural thing with the name. I've spent a decent amount of time in Sydney and Melbourne (did a fair bit of business with companies there years ago) and spent a decent amount of time in Toronto (did undergrad in Cornell and Toronto was the closest place to get decent Chinese food :)), I can say from a 3rd party perspective (Filipino), the culture can be quite different. Politeness is a bit more, for lack of a better word, formal in Canada, while its sometimes more polite to tell a bawdy joke down under than to tell a white lie.

Canada and Australia shouldn't even be put into the equation here. It is offensive period, as I said earlier no matter what country you are from. I don't know if all australians would be appreciative of you guys speaking for all of their points of view! I don't doubt for a second, that there are some australians, americans, Iranians, etc etc that finds this offensive. But, with that being said, it is nice to know there will be a sister site. That is a great alternative indeed. For what it's worth, I know for a fact that my voice in this thread is one voice speaking for a few offended people already that are too shy to speak up about it. Also, with the site being so public, perhaps they could have an are you 18 years old button before you enter, so that mom's and dad's don't have to censor! Just a thought! Have a great day all, off to do some DIY!

Never heard of wet your stick. But thanks for pointing that out. hahahah I suppose I won't be buying their juices either! JEEPERS! Can we keep it G rated for God sake! hahahahahahahahahahaha

I'm guessing it shouldn't be brought up about those 4 million porn sites on the internet that all just one click away.
Porn and ecigs isn't such a good comparison in this discussion. I can't see the parallel between the two. Besides porn sites can be monitored by families that can install filters on their computers so kids can't get access to them. My sister has it on her computer for her 3 boys. I am just stating my opinion Kalvinf, as a buyer, and also as someone who managed 2 petstores and worked in retail. It would be offensive to me, to my family, friends, co workers, and the like to act in that inappropriate manner while I was running a public buisness and taking people's money for product. Even as adults, there will be people from all walks of life buying, from all different countries. Seeing a girl in anime form with white colored .... (that's what it looks like) on her face and breast in a wife beater shirt with cleavage and her nipple protruding like this is somthing I would rather not see when giving my hard earned money to someone for ecig related products. I just find it down right disgusting and disrespectful. If I was someone that stumbled upon that site and did not see reviews on Del, and how wonderful she is, I would have shut the window and moved on. I would expect this type of site going up from a guy, but a girl? WOW I am surprised a buisness woman would have that form of mentality towards her own gender! I am moving on definately regardless now that this site has come to light, and will be stating my opinion publically as she has put her site up publically knowing that there would be some folks offended by it. I am sure Del is a smart gal and thought of this but went ahead with it anyways. I am just brave enough to say it outloud.

It's more the general presence of porn via the internet that is just there and not that it connects to e-cigs or other aspects of life. For instance, type "....." into google and 192 million hits come back. The connection would be the online store of juicewhore is the "storefront" residing on the internet and other online parts of life such as this forum where support and information is garnered for vapers.

Everyone has a view shaded by various experiences and I respect yours Danes. It may be more of an afront for women as well. The world is moving on though and when I try to curtail all coarse language around my older teen daughter she just says it's Ok and that swearing is used everywhere at school and it's no big deal, then it sinks in that attitudes are changing.

Anyhow, there are great flavours to be had with Del and it's a refreshing change to find this selection someplace other than a billboard riddled country located between here and Mexico.

Dane, you are not alone I assure you! Most don't like to say anything because god forbid you seem too sensitive around a bunch of boys, right? I pm'd ecf about a certain female members avi getting ridiculously gratuitous and not only did this moderator decide to tell the member about it, but I saw a huge thread of barely veiled comments about how crazy sensitive some people are. Unfortunately you will always find boys, not men, that feel pushing this into mainstream should be tolerated and women who like to use an overly sexual image to her advantage. The logo is beyond inappropriate and apparently society won't be satisfied until porn is in the hands of every "normal" 4 year old boy. Funny, doubt boys would feel this way if men were sexualized and barely dressed everywhere you go. Tv, billboards, magazines, internet. Every form of communication.

Let's not throw all the males of the species under the bus, especially when it goes in both directions.

It's ok for 30+ year old women to ogle shirtless teens and young adults in the movie Twilight, but almost an arrestable offense if it was men staring at scantily clad teens and young adults.

It is a societal shift, not misogyny.

Well, anynow, Del is in process of a second business name to sell under without retiring the current name.

One other thing to add then I'll duck out and wait for vocr's review - that where this business resides in Australia in the province/territory of NSW (which includes Sydney and Melbourne), prostitution has been legalized.

Legalized prostitution makes sense.

OH
Roland, a I didn't throw any men under the bus. I said boys specifically ;) And there is a difference in a guy with no shirt getting attention and pornography. And...you don't see men growing up with eating disorders trying to achieve the unrealistic version of a 'woman' that she has had thrown in her face since the time she could open her eyes. Appreciating a man or woman who is in shape is once thing, a starved plastic version of a woman trying to be society's version of beautiful is quite another. Have you ever seen what a runway model looks like? It's disgusting.

Who says they're not? Ever seen a Calvin Klein Ad / Billboard? Or just about every cologne Ad on TV?

Women aren't the only ones who are "sexualized" in the media. And self obsession over body image isn't a female only problem either ;)
