Hey fellas. After the dreaded FT shipping wait time, the magma finally arrives today. What build and wicking do you recommend for a good 1st experience?

I love my Mutation x at 24g, 3mm, .25 ohm for reference. Thanks!

My build may not suit you, but I like 0.7ohm single coil on a mech. Right now I'm running a twisted coil.

I actually prefer single coil on this rda.

Personally, I like a single coil build on a 3.175mm (1/8") mandrel, 8 wraps of 26 gauge for 1.2 ohms. Dip the wicks into the juice wells just so they barely touch the bottom and fray them out.

I have targeted about 1.2 ohms as well. 5-6 wraps of 28 gauge using a 3mm diam. I tried sub ohm but got too many dry hits.

The build I currently have in may be my favorite so far. It's 24 gauge 6 wraps dual coil wrapped around a 3/32nd drill bit metering out to around 0.25 ohms. Wicked with some shiseido cotton just long enough to reach the bottom of the juice wells and pushed up against the inner walls.

Thanks for the posts guys. Started with a .65 ohm 24g build, meh. I now have a 28g parallel single coil at .5 is rocking. Good flavor and vape. I'm using dual air mode and liking it with a single coil. Plan on trying dual coil soon

My only complaint is airflow. Even with both opened max it'd rather tight with a single coil. Any tips?
