Protank 2 threads inside tank are showing. Problem?

I just got the Protank 2 rinsed it out, put it together, filled it with liquid and started vaping. It performs great but when i looked in the tank (merely admiring my new toy) i noticed that there was still thread showing, as if i hadn't screwed in the end cap of the tank all the way. Now, i thought this was the problem at first so I drained the tank and unscrewed the bottom section of the tank and tried re-aligning the threading and hand tightened it. Still seeing threading on the center tube. Does anyone else have this problem? i don't want to overtighten it and mess up the threading. Any help or feedback is appreciated.

If the fittings are all good and snug it doesn't leak and works good, I wouldn't worry about it. These are after all made in China. I'm old enough to remember saying the same thing about "made in Japan". My, how things change.

Nope not a problem, just an abnormality, might go away might not would bother me until I figured it out. You did make me look at my protank 2 however...

Unscrew the base, make sure the head is fully snugged, and double check the white o-ring on the tanks base to make sure its properly seated all the way down.

There shouldnt be a gap, if the above doesn't work, it could be machining inconsistencies, unfortunately.

Either way it works properly!

I haven't torn mine down but could it be you switched the top and bottom of the glass?

Mine has a thread or two showing at the bottom. It is magnified when there is juice in it.

Thanks for the replies! It's working flawlessly, it just looks kinda funky...it also kind of looks like its leaning a little to one side. Like it's drunk. Drunktank, haha. I'm just going to vape the rest of the juice and when i take it apart to clean and refill i'll spend some more time trying to troubleshoot it.
