I drove a semi with my husband for 12 years. I had wanted to drive a truck since I was a child, and the opportunity came when I was laid off from the factory I worked at. My husband trained me, and we eventually drove over a million miles together.
I had to quit driving because of health issues. I miss driving A LOT! The old saying goes--truckin is in your blood-to stay!
The spelling variation is the only one that wasn't taken when I first created it 10 years ago.

I like that, trukinlady!

Mine was my nickname in college because I worked at this little tiny cafe that sold espressos and fancy coffees decades before there were StarBucks, etc. I was ALWAYS rushing around making cappuccinos and other types of "fancy" coffees on this huge espresso machine the owner had imported from Spain (quite unusual in Wisconsin 30 years ago LOL), and hence my name, with the "a" on the end because I'm a girl....:D

My screen name is a shortened version of a Fantasy Football Team I used to have. I called them the "Kickapoo .... Kickers" due the fact that I live in the town of Kickapoo. I decided to use that as a screen name on another forum, but dropped the "....". However, this turned into "Kickapoo Kicker" which made it sound like I was walking around kicking Native Americans who are part of the Kickapoo Tribe.

So, I abbreviated Kickapoo into KP, and voila! There you have it.

Someone once asked if he could have a "piece of Candy"(my real name is Candice, no I'm not a stripper!)... so I just tweaked it to my own taste, plus the leaning tower of Pisa has to be one of the coolest things ever :)
Heh, my wife's name is Candice...if anyone ever calls her "Candy" they promptly get kicked in the most sensitive area she can reach!

When I got my first computer...a LONG LONG time ago...I was talking with a new ICQ friend trying to figure out a cool screen name. I worked in a casino as a dealer. He thought that was just so cool, and my name had to have something to do with it. I told him I can't name myself "BJ" (as I was a blackjack dealer). My favorite game to deal was roulette. So, I thought that would work. My friend thought adding the "ms" to the front to specify me as a female was sexy...and voila! I have used this same name for 15 years or so. Many of the friends I've met online through various forms of PM, IM and chat just shorten it and call me Rou.

My screen name is based on one of my favorite songs from one of the true gods of rock. I use this name for all of my online gaming and site handles. I intentionally misspelled it so that I wont have to worry about it being taken. Yes I named myself based on Ozzy's Paranoid. My avatar is me getting off the lift after going down the widowmaker at Snowshoe Mountain in shorts and a sleeveless shirt.
