We need more of these investigations and news stories.

Many and perhaps most of the proposed state/local e-cigarette sales and usage bans since 2009 were lobbied for by health agencies and their funded anti tobacco groups using federal funding from CDC.

Since Obama appointed anti tobacco extremist Tom Frieden as head of the CDC, the CDC has been knowingly and illegally giving grants to state and local governments to lobby for legislation to ban/restrict indoor and/or outdoor use of cigarettes, smokeless tobacco and e-cigarettes, to tax tobacco products, and for other lobbying purposes.

This is really nothing new, and certainly not "special" to this administration, or to E-Cigs. Anti-smoking legislation lobbying has been funded by "health" grants for a LOOONG time. Libertarians were hollering about this and other like tax-funded lobbying for at least a decade (probably been going on in the "war on SOME drugs" for decadeS).

Not sent from a phone, but intercepted by the NSA all the same.........

Is there anyway to encourage this sort of oversight, state by state and hopefully before the bill passes? I think this is one more way to derail regulation - maybe even embarrass a few for doing something "illegal" (big maybe).

Using taxpayer dollars to fund lobbyist campaigns should have popular support in the pr war.

This happened under Bush Jr. too. It's time to drop the Obama-drama. It makes no difference who is elected with multi-national corporations in control and more powerful than gov't. They are certainly wealthier than gov't is.

Although I agree that the world governments are run by corporate interests it's not time to drop any "Obama-drama" because that is the present threat in the US.
Ignoring the "Obama-drama" leaves half the equation out of it so their blind followers can remain blind.
