I did a whole gang of things as early as 13 years old, and any attempts to deter me would and did fail. Just another perfectly normal teenager, I was.

--- my comments are not just because I vape. I find the recent decisions demonstrate unnecessary governmental and regulatory intrusion.
It irritated me when I read this Surgeon General’s Statement on FDA’s Youth E-cigarette Prevention Campaign | SurgeonGeneral.gov.
And it irritated me even more when I read the statement from the FDA commissioner who now pushes his personal agenda. Statement from FDA Commissioner Scott Gottlieb, M.D., on proposed new steps to protect youth by preventing access to flavored tobacco products and banning menthol in cigarettes and thought it was filled with a lot of political doubletalk.
Parents should manage/raise their children
And - although I do not agree with it -- any ban should be applied consistently not selectively. Stores that sell analog cigs and booze ask for ID, for example. Their products are not banned.
For the record, I do not advocate young kids vaping or smoking.

Yeah it is rather strange concerning vaping and my own personal thoughts (in other words, I am strange).... There is much justification in both camps..... I am an avid lover of vaping, no question about it... If I had my way I would chain vape as much as I can.... On the other hand, I am also aware of potential long-term health risks... I say "potential" because nobody currently knows yet....
Then, I have to sit back and watch all of these lying, bureaucratic agencies, along with corrupt politicians, trying to make vaping impossible for everyone (no matter the age) when they don't even know if it is harmful....
Like I said in earlier posts in this thread, a person should think long and hard before they decide to start vaping as none of us truly now what long term consequences it can have on health...
With that said, I am also equally disturbed by BT/FDA and all of the rest of the ......ed agencies for trying to police something that they have zero clue about..... Bottom line is that people should have the right to choose between smoking or not smoking, vaping or not vaping, drinking or not drinking etc...
Just face it people, the criminal lawmakers here in the USA are only concerned about pleasing the special interest groups who fund them (aka BT and others)… They could give a hoot less about the average person... It's all about money and power.
I do stand by and support your decision. I wouldn't sell it to kids either. We also have to consider that kids smoke as well. There needs to be some kind of solution for them also.

Interesting -- more drugs. A casino owner, billionaire and huge Republican donator, Sheldon Adelson has a wife Miriam Adelson who is a physician. She specializes in youth addictions and has a clinic in Las Vegas and Tel Aviv, Israel. She advocates putting kids -- young 13, 14 and sometimes even younger on methadone to get them off of illicit substances which I think sets them up for a lifelong dependency. Now we are talking about pharmaceutical solutions for kids. Wow.

yeah that's because you are witnessing people (Miriam Adelson) who live in their own little world which is separated from the rest of the population... Her perception of reality and yours is nothing alike. People like her are pathetic... People like that, who possess loads of wealth, and have a title, usually have much power and influence. Because of that power, they can influence what you can and cannot do no matter how crazy it sounds... It doesn't matter if she is Republican, Democrat, or something in between, because money talks and BS walks.... More drugs for kids? People like her are warped and so of course they will do perverse things such as feed kids more drugs.....
