Thanks, Kristin. I have posted in WebMD's smoking cessation forum several times to correct uninformed comments about vaping and to help those you have asked questions about vaping. Up until this article, WebMD has been squarely against vaping. Maybe they are finally taking the blinders off.
Quote from end of article: The Siegel article was published Feb. 8 online ahead of print by the American Journal of Preventive Medicine.
Thanks for linking to the article. Nice to read a well written and factual article on pv's. This article will be read my many, many people when it is published.
Pretty good article overall I agree, although they did quote some of the total garbage from the UCR Talbot press release on pg 2...the 1st & last points especially being unproven.
So many reports are not separating the device from the liquid when speaking of efficacy & safety. As vapers, we separate the two almost immediately when discussed.
It's great, but too bad they surveyed Blu owners only. I've never tried one but from what I've read on ECF, the Blu experience isn't the experience most smokers and vapers hoped for in the E-Cig journey. They should survey 5000 eGo or mod owners!
