If I recall correctly one year is supposed to be the shelf life of flavorings. Does everyone actually observe this? If no, what's the oldest flavoring you have in your stash?
That is some blenders shelf life recommendations. I suspect there are many factors that govern the usefulness of a flavor over a given time. Best test, protect it, use it and if it does not please, and you know it should, replace with a better rated or same flavor.

I have a few FA flavorings from June 2011 that are still good. They are in glass containers and have been kept in a cool, dark, dry place, not refrigerated. Other flavorings from 2012 and 2013 are also still perfectly fine. All kept in glass containers in a cool, dark, dry place.

I keep mine in the bottom 2 shelves of my vape cabinet (stands on the floor).
Lower = cooler.
It never gets over 80F in here probably 77F at floor level.
I've been vaping DIY FW Cheesecake this week that was manufactured in 7/2014.
The 4oz bottle has only been opened 5 or less times for less than a minute total.
Tastes great/less filling

I just checked temps with my 1950's-1960's TEL-TRU room thermometer.
It reads 79F next to the newish house temp-control that reads 78F. TRUth is relative.
It reads 76F at the floor so probably an actual 75F
