Damn, here we go again. I got the new batteries yesterday and charged them. I tried them out and as it turned out I got ANOTHER bad pair of batteries! One of them has a very short cut off of 1 to 2 seconds! 
The other one has the same cut off as the old ones. So I plan on sending those back. I think I may have figured out the big problem with these malfunctioning Dura batteries though. I noticed that if you blow into them the light stays on for the full cutoff time. I think they may have been assembled backwards. So I shot another email to Jeff. At this point I am starting to get annoyed. Now I will have to wait another 3 days (at least) for the replacements for the replacements to arrive. I despise buying anything online for this reason. If it was a local store I would only have to drive there and show that it died and get new ones all in the same day. I have a strange feeling that the quality control at the factory that makes Janty was off in la la land just before the new years holiday and let these bad switches pass. At this point I don’t care if I get used batteries as long as they work properly. I can tell that the Dura is an excellent device. I just got stuck in the middle of a very bad batch of batteries. I also ordered the Yeti from Altsmoke.com yesterday and apparently the factory caught the flaw and delayed the shipment to fix it. Once I get Dura working properly and receive the Yeti I will compare them. They look the same but do they perform the same is the big question.
