My Dura experience to date.

I have made the decision on my next E-Cig.

And..
I chose the Janty Dura. I ordered it early this morning and I am so excited!

Thank you to everyone advised me in making this choice. I think I will be posting my own written review after I get it. That is after I put it through it’s paces for a week or two but I will be posting small follow-ups until then. -Devon

Initial impressions out of the box, Just looking at it and setting up.
I received my Janty Dura this morning! Shipping time was quite quick (2 days from Texas to Oregon). The packaging is not flashy at all but nice. There was a small moment of panic caused by this until I noticed the small box containing it. (I just woke up.) I do like that on the bottom of the box it has credits to the engineers. It is smaller than I imagined for some reason. It measures 112mm long and about 9mm wide. Parked, the lens on the webcam does strange things to you or you are about the same size as me because I could have sworn that it looked bigger.

Well the fact that it is smaller is a very pleasant surprise. The PCC is also very small and compact and does not look like a problem to carry around. Charging: Now I am going through the initial charging stages now. The USB charger is flashing red to green at a random pace which is normal apparently. That is the only “strange” thing I have seen. Well, I am very excited to try it and I will update this post tomorrow with my first reaction to the vapor. I have heard that the atomizer has a bit of a break in period. I want to fully document my experience so there is no guessing for other people.

*Update*

During the first 20 on both batteries had what seems to be switch issues. Sometimes it lasts a regular time and it kicks ..... Sometimes it lasts 2-3 seconds which sucks. I hope it breaks in and the problem dissolves. I will take it out to the bar with me tonight and use it exclusively and see how it does. I will post more when I get home.

I think it may be an isolated problem. I’m back from the bar. Both batteries have seemed to wake up a bit. It is still hit and miss though. I have gone through the first battery (The one that worked ok) in 3.5 hrs the second battery lasted 4 hrs which is shorter than the 5hrs that Parked reported. The second battery’s clock is off because I got a bit sick to my stomach and had to stop. (I did not get sick from the e-cig but form drinking on an empty stomach.) I have charged the first battery with the PCC we will see how it did. Carts last for about 2.5 hrs of constant smoking and have a refill capacity of .7 ml. I charged both batteries according the instructions in the box, one in the home charger (first one) and one in the USB charger (second one). I asked Jeff for the initial charge time for the PCC and it is 4hrs. I will see if it improves more. I tried long soft drags and it did the same thing. I haven’t been dripping at all. I might add that I have been noticing the atomizer waking up. The hype is not wrong about this device. It delivers a lot of vapor with an excellent hit. Even when it is a short (not by choice) hit there is still a lot of vapor. I can’t wait till I get it to operate at full capacity on a regular basis. This is really and excellent device. As it is a first production model it will have some bugs. It is just like buying a new first run cell phone. I expected a few hiccups, but it is worth it.

*Update* The first battery is now functioning properly after charging in the PCC.

Today I received my replacement batteries and dry tested them and the switches appear to work fine. They are now on the chargers and staring at me with their little red and green eyes.

Now, I can’t wait to use them so I can finally do a proper review. I will update later tonight.
