Pod people

I am quintessentialy old school, starting my vaping journey In 2009, converted completely to exclusively vaping in 2011, over the many years my kit has been relatively static, basically an power adjustable mod, a tank, and adequately, strong juice, but being curious I have tried all sorts of things over the years, but after playing with rebuildables for a long time laziness sets in, and I found a coil and tank system that worked perfectly for me and settled in there. Come forward around 10 years and the pods start showing up, first to the juul,..Tried it out of curiosity and the results were meh. I can see why this would work for a beginner but nothing I would want to use,… then an inexpensive pod offered on special again. The results were below, mediocre, I ignored pods for a few years then I started hearing, the reviews have improved greatly. I saw some of the heroes of vaping like Grimm Green using pods a lot,… I thought maybe I need to revisit this, so after looking over the market for over two years, combined with a special price, I tried one of the new generations, the Voopoo Argus pod, first impression was “wow these things work really well,… much differently than the early ones“, number two, I adjust power to taste and of course the pod I chose was power adjustable, because well I can’t live without a screen and adjustments so in the adjusted taste format. I ran the power all the way down to as low as it would go, which was 5 W I was amazed at how well it worked at 5 W, so I started slowly bringing the power up on the new pod , and landed at seven where the thing was completely satisfying,… 7 watts, and this is where the power has stayed for quite a while, I am absolutely amazed at the efficiency in these new generations of high ohm mesh coils ( 1.2 ohms)
it takes a lot to amaze me, but here I sit, completely amazed at these improvements, which I consider major. Strangey I now have a new found respect for these systems,
The big deal, one thing about my low wattage vaping in general, is the concept of stealth Vapeing, having smoked for many decades what I missed, was being able to have a cigarette after a meal or on an airplane or in a movie theater, which I’m old enough to have experienced all of those. So my goals is the ability to stealth vape which over the years I have conducted extensively, vaping in restaurants, theaters and even on aircraft and done properly no one ever notices. No one‘s bothered, no hassles at all.

then the ultimate challenge I had to carpool with a little old lady who didn’t want any evidence of vaping in her personal space so if she saw me even pick up a device from my pocket, excluding the production of any vapor, she would be bitterly complaining, so I had a new goal,—secret Vapeing! can I vape without someone sitting next to me know I’m doing it, I figured the pod system with auto draw, a Unit so small you can palm it,… and simply hold the hit, so no vapor is exhaled is my best shot,.. and after a 400 mile experiment of a two way trip she had no idea that I’ve was vapeig the entire time,… so a major success for stealth Vaping with a high nicotine pod system running at seven watts.
this affectively extends the freedoms offered by Vaping, a major win in my book. So now I’ll fall back into old ways. I’ll be getting more pod devices. Experimenting with different pod configurations and moving up to units that have a fire button. { and a screen, and adjustable wattage} because they are no longer rare.
this is really the first excitement I’ve had in many years and considering the rough road that Vaping has had with government, the laws, and the FDA, propaganda, campaigns, continuous alerts from casas, and a general vaping depression from seeing my favorite juice makers, mod makers and vape shops all forced out of business because of the ridiculous government intervention. It’s wonderful to have a little positive news about the world of Vaping that I do dearly enjoy.
