Scratchpad: Others' recipes -- Tobacco/nicotine/E liquid related

information pertaining to all sorts of other various nicotine/tobacco/e-liqud recipes and flavorings from all around the internet (including this very forum)

I refrigerate the tobacco extract liquid. When I last did a mix -- I'm puffing it today -- I did the usual 80% glycerine but added about 10% Kahlua alcohol and six drops of Cook's vanilla extract (mostly alcohol) along with the tobacco liquid. My thinking is that alcohol serves multiple purposes, including atomizer health and perhaps some anti-bacteria or germicidal purposes in the final liquid. I'm sure it doesn't hurt my lungs in the small amount I inhale.

The final mix is left on the table where I keep the e-devices. I don't refrigerate that, but use it up within about a week. Might should refrigerate it

It's just experimenting with flavor. I think the taste from flavored e-liquids is wimpy. I want a taste hit. So the idea is to cook up some tobacco flavor (I'm been using really good pipe tobacco) and add it to a glycerine base as flavor. Then I complement the tobacco taste with another flavor -- vanilla in my experiments so far, but I want Bickford's Kahlua. You can use this to cut or extend commercial e-liquid, too. I have 24mg e-liquid in a large quantity now so I can cut that stuff pretty strongly and still have a known nicotine level with a taste I like.

1. The composition of Cartridge/e-liquid:propylene glycol, pure water, glycerol, tobacco flavor, nicotine(from tobacco leaf),and so on.

Here is the mix I use that has been tailored to my personal tastes but its easy to play with:

I will use percentages so you can mix however much you want if you're game to try it:

I mixed mine for 18mg nic but its easy to adjust.

50% PG with 36mg nic (you can use VG but I like the throat hit from PG)
1% Ethyl Maltol (gives pleasant sweet hay smell)
1 drop per 5ml of diluted tobacco absolute
2% distilled water
47% pure VG
1 (small) drop of highly concentrated menthol crystals mixture (used to clean up the flavor just a bit, does not turn it into a menthol flavor. This one can be left out if you want an earthier tasting vape)
You have to be really careful with the tob. abs. Too much and it ends up with an almost ashtray taste

Dana's Nicotine Fit Cocktail Recipe
Ingredients My Bar
1 1/2 oz Vodka Vodka
1 oz Amaretto Liqueur
1 oz Coffee Liqueur Liqueur
1 oz Irish Cream Liqueur
Directions
Pour ingredients into an iced mixing glass. Serve on rocks.

Nicotini:
Ingredients
* 20ml tobacco-infused rum, (see cook’s note)
* 20ml Havana rum
* 20 ml coffee liqueur
* 10ml lemon juice
* 10ml demerera sugar syrup
* 1 tsp egg whites
make your own tobacco infused rum by steeping a Montecristo #4 cigar in a bottle of Havana 7 yrs old rum.

Well I read on some site, 1oz of RYO leaf, or 1 pack of cigarettes
( throw away paper & filters) soaked in 1 quart vodka 24 hours, or one fine cigar soaked whole in a quart, filter the results...enjoy !!
one pack per quart makes sense so one shot technically would equal a little less than one cig.
I suppose ya could make your own nicowater the same way. It would be better to put the tobacco in a filter, like a coffee filter, twist tie the top so no leaf gets in the water or alcohol, let it sit 24hours then squeeze out the bag. That way there'd be no particles, or very little in the resulting concoction. Filter the liquid once more if necessary. May want to wear rubber gloves while squeezing the bag though.
