One question: when I release pressure on the juice bottle in my Reo, it clearly says "squink", not "squonk". Am I doing something wrong?

It's Tom's fault! His bottom feed modding works too good with those nice fat drain holes. If the drain hole was smaller diameter it would give the deeper squonk sound.

Sounds like you have everything working great! :D

Cheaper is good, but I kinda figured $4 shipping for an 85c strip of rubber, it's a rip no matter what. I'm happy with how the cap stays on snug now & that's what I care about.

Thanks for the options, all the same!
Yes, I did notice the Viton is rated to 400deg, Buna only 200

... I really don't like using my Reo and I want to try my Rogue and REMatty now...

What exactly don't you like about it, just curious because that is what got me into B-Fing and preferring unregulated B-Fers. I've had 3 different brands of regulated B-F mods... and eventually 3 smoked chips.

I don't like that its unregulated, that's it. Everything else is fine.

    Tom,

I got the 2 Marquis clones today. Thank you very much, they are sweet. The squonk is easy and they drain fast while leaving plenty of juice for several hits. I also got some screen today so I attempted my first Genisis style build. Dual 5 wraps of 27ga. with a 400 mesh wick. I also got some 350 and 500 mesh, so I will be playing with some builds over the next weeks.

Here is a pic of my build...you can see I've tried it and got juice splatter all over. If anyone has any suggestions or recommendations, please let me know.

I know where you're coming from. Don't get me wrong I love my Tmod and Reos. The simplicity and reliability are stellar. But I keep picking up the regulated drippers. Can't wait to get a regulated squonker in my hands ;)

Me too...probably soon also....I don't like the unregulated either. The regulated mods spoiled me.

I grabbed a Negus Mod out of the classies a couple weeks ago and have to confess, regulated squonking is pretty sweet. Pairs nicely with the top air RDAs like Manta and Rogue. It is getting me back to higher resistances...like 0.6-0.8 rather than 0.3-0.4 ohms.

I hope to have a regulated device from each Tom in the future

After ONE day of squonking, it seems obvious that a properly designed from the bottom-up regulated bottom feed mod + atomizer is the next step in vaping. Fresh juice, wet wick, proper air flow and a righteous build deck. Maybe even a replaceable coil/wick for casual use. All with the simple push of a button. Bye, bye miserable compromise tanks.
