Hey all.

Been having some rust issues with an RDA (Hellboy clone) I think it might be down to my cleaning method, usually I just go with some hot soapy water and a damn good rinsing afterwards, what methods are you guys using? And how the heck do you clean up a mech mod?
I also use the same method you do sounds like your mid us plated as opposed to being sold stainless

For the attys themselves I use isopropyl alchohol let soak for 5 minutes then soap and hot water for my mechs I use the same method as above for my stainless mods and for copper or brass (and stainless if I feel like it) I use never dull but ketchup works great too!

My Excalibur is copper and black... Should I slap some ketchup in that too ;)

What's happening here isn't the screws rusting because they're cheap, they're rusting because the tools used on them caused contamination and kick started the rusting process. When you're working with stainless screws the way to keep it from happening is to use stainless steel screwdrivers that are only ever used on stainless steel hardware.
