So far only 1 major thing I have noticed for general care of the VK.

1.) Clean your battery threads even on your USb Pass. If you compare a used batt and a new one you will see it gets dirty. Simply clean with a pipe cleaner (i found some in the arts and crafts section of a store) and some rubbing alcohol. Get into the nooks and crannies and a little bit in the hole till its nice and shiny. Also try to get in the side holes and clean them out as well.

Maximize refilling/carts

2.) Clean carts out when you start to see some staining/juice residue. It will be brownish. I like to clean using the rinse with hot water couple times, soak in vodka for 5 min and rinse again and dry method.

Any other tips would be appreciated for maximizing VK efficiency.

This is really nice to know! Never heard about cleaning your batty before but once you said somethign it was like well duh *Facepalms self* of course contact would be better between the 2 the connectors!
Could you please elaborate a bit more on your soaking and cleaning methods for the cartomizers?

And as you say anyone with more tips please share!

There was a video or soemthing abou tthe cleaning method somewhere. But heres how it goes.
!.) take off white mouthpice and plastic thing inside.
2. Under vey hot slow running water, use tweezers or something to hold it, run water through the mouth side then blow the water out. 2 times.

3. Soak in vodka for 5 minutes.
4. Rinse and blow again 2 times
5. Let dry overnight or use blow dryer. If you refill while there is still water you will get weak flavor and not as much vape time in the cart. Also blow them out once and a while when they are resting wherever you put them to make dryikng faster and get out any sneaky ninja water.. I leave mine standing up battery side on the ground on a tissue

I don't remember seeing a video of cart cleaning. But there is a post with fairly detailed instructions. I'll look for it.
