Evic VT60 Will not stay on temp control?

I literally just opened my new Evic VT60 , with a kangertech subtank plus & subtank (regular) no matter what i do, the minute i hit the fire button, it switches from temp control to wattage.. Is their something im missing? I've tried my .5ohm and 1.2ohm coils, no difference. It starts in temp control for the first 1 to 2 seconds than immediately switches to wattage it will not run in temp control... any ideas?

I'm assuming you have a kanthal coil in your subtank to use TC you need NI or TI coil

The regular .5 and 1.2 ohm coils for the subtank are kanthal. TC won't work with kanthal, you'll need titanium or nickel coils.
